Over the summer I got the Wiimote working on Dolphin (for the few Wii games that actually work on it) but my only computer that can run Dolphin (my newer laptop) has a broken screen now.
So, I got the Glovepie loaded. I do the conenct thing for my wiimote, all lights flash and it says it sees it, does all the loading... but then all the lights turn off and I can't use it to control (turned off / disconnected). Ever have this happen? My comp can detect it, so I don't think it is my BT dongle.
Is there any way of using gyro movements (aka ex: making a jump movement with the wii mote) to make mario jump? or tilt the controller to the right to make mario move in that direction? thanks in advance.
hey, i was wondering, were can i ge the "GLovePIE.exe" program from... i typed the program's name into google, and it didnt come up with anything......
(in responce to the sensor bar)
by the way, you can use 2 tealight candles at each end of the screen to create a sensor bar...
um... sorry to disturb you but... once i run WiinRemote, it says that i have 0% battery... help? because i definitely know i have battery in my wii because i always play games on it.
You can use the Wiimote as a mouse, but you get best results when you use a sensor bar (or other source of infrared light). You can build a sensor bar out of a few IR LED's and a battery, you can cut the cord on your Wii sensor bar and power with battery, or you can buy a wireless sensor bar.
did you know that oyu can put a candle near your tv when you use wii and the infa red in the lit candle would work as a sensor bar quick tip for anyone who broke their sensor bar
Well it wouldn't really matter because the sensor bar is included with the console. And sure, it would be silly buying the candles, but say if there was a mass zombie invasion and you couldn't go to the store to buy a new sensor bar? What would you do then huh? :p
Uhh...look on the box, instruction manual, etc, also if you have the little "B" icon on your system tray, also look in Control Panel for Bluetooth Configuration. Chances are that it doesn't have Bluetooth, but my adapter was only $30.
I didn't show that part because you need to build a homemade sensor bar (or you can use a real one, but you'd have to either cut the plug off and connect it to a battery or a computer's USB port. You can make a sensor bar with 2 IR LED's (RadioShack sells these) and a battery, or get power from USB.
would it work for a nes emulator?

maybe one day they'll find a way to use the wiimote to point at the screen for a DS emulator
NarutoM 4 years ago
Um that is actually possible ROFL.
Just map the wii motion sensor to mouse movement and B button to touching the screen.

Widcomm, that's the only one in Windows that the 221 supports.

if your wiimote does not connect properly, it can say such things. check if pitch and roll values change. if not, you are not connected.

It's capable of running XP, but I didn't have a copy at the time. Since then I have put XP Home on it instead of 2000...works a lot better :)

Okay, I got wiinRemote and I have connected my wiimote to the computer using default drivers. The wiinmote software can't detect a wiimote.
Help?
jimjamkillsnerds 4 years ago
wait can you complete control the wiiremote
or do you have to push the mouse up and down for it to work?
