Dantes Inferno is a fucking GoW clone so if you want to play good hack and slash game buy GoW 1,2 Devil May Cry 1,2,3,4 and finaly this masterpiece Darksiders.
I think this game is absolutely amazing its always played during the winter with my brothers they are brilliant at it. I downloaded the game absolutely free for my sony ps3 from; 115 games. com there are literally thousands best thing about it is they are all free too btw 1:02 - 3:42 was excellent
It was some time ago, but I agree with you, the graphics and gameplay are better than dantes, and the game is 100% similar to Zelda...after playing it for about 10 mins, it felt like I was Link on steroids

@117Rugby I'll agree that the graphics aren't as good; Dante's Inferno (my favorite Xbox 360 game) used a 60 frames-per-second engine and incredible detailing to make the game absolutely beautiful (in the most infernal way possible), whereas the detailing and frame rate aren't as good in Darksiders. The gameplay isn't similar though, it's closer to Zelda, Devil May Cry, Viking: Battle for Asgard, etc. Darksiders is still pretty fuckin' cool though.

I'll say halo it has good graphics and from what i heard is VERY LONG!! but whatever you do don't get army of to it barely has anything for you to enjoy.
this is the type of game you can prolly beat in one night. its just like devil may cry gameplay i bet, i would buy it if it was used but for 60.00? NAHHHH!!!!!!
If you got both a 360 and a ps3 you should buy it for the ps3.. the 360 version has got some frame rate and tearing issues, which can get annoying at times.. but if you only got a 360 you should buy it anyway, its worth it.. great game!

I'm sure I saw an interview where the developers talked about their love of the Zelda games - that's pretty much what they wanted to make, so it's no surprise to see the similarity.
If people are after a GoW-esque effort your best bets are to hang on GoW on the PS3 - or go for Dante's Inferno on the 360.
Sorry ... with this game i'm blocket in the zone where you have to take 3 swords and to put them on 3 statues ...
In one of the 3 places where you have to take those swords ... you have to ignite (give fire) to some star bombs ... (the bombs who explode ... those with fire)
These bombs i'm talking about have no fire ... how can i start a new fire on them ?

This game is good, but kinda repetitive, which makes me preffer Ninja Gaiden, Bayonetta and Dante's Inferno. But it's worth the cash. =)

This game is pretty much like DEVIL MAY CRY, as well as Bayonetta is (bayonetta is a copy of devil may cry, but with faster gameplay).
You should start playing good games instead of trash like Dante's Inferno and God of War.
