Well as you can see, he is using sheet music, so that requires a lot more focus than perhaps someone who already memorized it and can focus maximally on the actual playing.

The beginning was ment to be slow,as written in the sheet music. Compare the end part to the intro, there's your double speed.

Well... By the looks of it, it's a digital piano :) A real upright piano has a bigger cabinet so the strings, the soundboard and all the different mechanics fit in.

From what I hear, the piano's not out of tune. However, there are a dissonant notes in the composition, which sometimes can be perceived as "being out of tune" :)
