The officiating in this series was laughably bad. There were at least 2 calls in Game 5 in OT that shouldn't have happened, and the Pens won directly off of one of the ensuing penalties. Oh well, they simply delayed the inevitable.

Why hate? 17 consecutive seasons. 4 cups. about 5 finals appearances. Just because we are a team with talented players, talented scouters and a good minor league system doesnt mean that we gotta be hated on as fans. We support our team and are even happier because they rock. Florida Panthers got great fans and like to talk about their team, only our team dominates and we have stripes and bragging rights. It's just because opponents are scared that they're team is not as good. But if they know their style of play and are committed to it, then they can surely beat the wings. Unfortunately for them very few styles can challenge the way the wings play their puck-possession style. Dallas tried to play the same way but this year the wings were better at it.

i swear to god pittsburg messed up there team. Okay this is my scenario. A 19 year old kid wants to drive the family car but the dad says no. The kid pleads untill he gets his way. That's what the pens did, the gave the team to a kid instead of a veteran and the kid did everything well untill the last trun and forgot his basics and crashed. I love the red wings since i was 2 and i will always! atop the leaugue or not. that's hockey town love!
