  • Over 900hp v10,sure fatal in 90'cars,he's so luck

  • I know it shouldn't be funny, But all he can feel us his balls :D

  • Thank Goodness he hit backwards...he went through the armco, had he hit front first he would have been beheaded...

  • Лёха Попов! FTW

  • He is lucky. Vere very lucky.

  • jesus christ did he just go throu the wall?? man Alan has more lives than my cat

  • cudos for him trying to take it flat out though.

  • Hmm, I watched this after his HUUUUGE Le Mans crash! He's like a cat with 9 lives!

  • Crash de dos ... S'il s'était crashé de face ... Il n'aurait pas pu se crasher comme il vient de le faire à l'instant aux 24 h du mans !

  • such a nice guy, thank god he survived.

  • looks likes di grassi's warm up accident at 2010

  • Reminds me of Steve Grissom at Atlanta in 1997 without the fuel fire.

  • it still baffles me how he walked away from this accident...

  • Thank God the car went in backwards. If it had gone in front first, it might have been a different outcome.

  • i bit like di grassi crash this year

  • the crash is 3x very massive than Senna crash in 1994

  • di TPI ada kah????

  • @Theriusz2

    mungkin bro

  • allan crash big

  • Since the 130R have been modified. He's lucky that he wasn't sufferd more serious injure.

  • He hit the barrier with high speed and get flip into another side of barrier. If he crashes with Cevert, Koinigg, Revson, Dohonue, or Depailler car, it would be fatal.

  • @AndrewWang1234 WTF r u talking bout?

  • he is incredibally lucky he went in backwards, the barrier breaking would have absorbed a lot of the energy actually so its not that bad a thing

  • he'sucky he hit with the rear and not the front! or else it would'veb een fatal.

  • It's appalling that almost three full minutes after the crash and there were still no medical personnel attending McNish.

  • @tymntube F1 seemed to have a problem with medical response around that time for some reason. I remember a crash in the US GP 2004 I think it was, where Ralph Shcumacher slammed into the barrier and medical car wasn't in sight for several minutes. Poor for top level motor sport.

  • @godanselmo then in the british GP that year, after Trulli rolled his car coming out of Bridge corner, the marshals literally dragged him away without checking to see if he was hurt

  • i do not remember this one - did he race?

  • no he didn't start.

  • @petethesteve he didnt race

  • normally they fly over the wall, not trough the wall ..

  • That was a hard collision. He caught well the corner but his car had not enough adhesion. He was lucky.

  • Good job it spun round and hit the wall going backwards. If he'd hit head-on... well, one dreads to think, but I doubt he'd have survived.

  • I should imagine he would have survived - the cars are extremely strong these days. Luciano Burti had just as violent a crash as this in 2001 at Spa, but head on into a barrier. He was fine and dandy - a precautionary measure meant he missed the final few races (i.e. Prost sacked him as he kept crashing).

  • @MrThreshold2009 but you've got to remember that it's not necessarily the car but the armco barrier that could be fatal. like in the tragic Cevert, Koinigg and Depailler cases just to name a few.

  • 7livesbcast! this is the safety of the f1 cars

  • i found it this guy is my cousin, not first, maybe 7th or so. my last name is mcnish also.

  • omg my last name is mcnish to. r u scottish?

  • if mcnish had stayed in a race seat in f1 in 03 he might have scored some points with the new rules...........if it was he rather than Nicolas Kiesia who replaced Wilson it would have been fun lol

A huge impact i remember this

  • shit he went through the wall

  • Very nasty. I had a smaller crash like this in ff1600. When you correct a slide and stay on the power hard, then it suddenly SNAPS back.. you can't do much about it.

  • I'd have shit my pants.....

  • At the fastest corner on the track too, 130R. It could have been fatal.

  • @f1tony2003 Kato didnt crash here... he went straight on in the triangle entering the final chicane a couple of hundred meters from there and hit the broadside of the tyre barriers there.

But a really terrible loss... i truly believe he would have been a real challenger to Rossi in Moto GP.

  • daijiro kato lost his bike at this point , hiting the other side barrier , rip kato

  • That got rid of MotoGP for a while...

  • @rdtli Kato didnt crash here... he went straight on in the triangle entering the final chicane a couple of hundred meters from there and hit the broadside of the tyre barriers there.

But a really terrible loss... i truly believe he would have been a real challenger to Rossi in Moto GP.

  • @cassin16 Yeah, Daijiro Kato crashed in the Casio Chicane, not at the 130'r curve. BTW had they ever found why Kato had lost control ? Have watched his fatal crash and it looks strange, just like he missed his braking point or touched another bike...

  • oh dude... nearly fatal...
