  • The best 3D I've seen yet. I don't know if this makes any sense but when I watched it I didn't "see" the 3D after a while. That is, I just accepted what I was watching as normal - as if this is the way a movie is supposed to be. May all future 3D movies be as technically outstanding as Hugo!

  • Now why the hell did I think all this time that this movie was animated??..

  • I respect them both but do they realise that most people don't like 3D

  • @OakridgeProductions9 YES, THEY REALISE THAT....THATS WHY THEY, SPECIALLY MARTY MAKES A TRULLY 3-D MOVIE...POEPLE HATE THE USUAL 3-D THAT IS BAD USE FOR MOST OF DIRECTORS...BUT THE 3-D OF HUGO AN EXAMPLE OF HOW FILMAKERS SHOULD USE THAT TECHNIC AND FORMAT!

  • Even Cameron must bow to Scorsese

  • what is james cameron wearing??

  • I love both of these filmmakers for very different reasons.

  • Cameron and Scorsese?Man somebody pitch me XD

  • SCORESE & CAMEROON => GOD & GOD

    thumbs up if u agree..:)

  • @singhvaibhav033 cameron is not equal to scorsese in any way. wat the fuck are you smoking? are on some hallucinatory drug where cameron makes movies in the same league as scorsese. this comment is disgraceful to scorsese's legacy lol. now, if you said scorsese & kubrick, you might have a point. but i geuss then you might be insulting kubrick by comparing him to scorsese. so its goes this way. Kubrick>Scorsese>>>>>Cameron. but cameron still makes fun movies i geuss.

  • @malows1234 : Plz dude, I guess ur English is l'll weak(P.S- BTW "GUESS" is spelled this way). I just meant that they both are on a different league of GENIUS FILM-MAKERS . NO OFFENCE, to anyone. So plz nxt tym be sure before u go on to make some absurd comment.

  • @malows1234 COMPARING SCORSESE WITH KUBRICK ISENT AN INSULT...AN INSULT IS COMPARING CAMERON TO SCORSESE.....SCORSESE AND KUBRICK ARE VERY DIFERENT TIPE OF FILMAKERS, BUT BOTH ARE GREAT ONES....IN MY CASE THE BEST FILMAKER AFTER KUBRICK IN THE LAST 40 YEARS IS SCORSESE....THE BODY OF WORK OF SCORSESE AND HIS VERSATILITY AND MASTERY IN DIFERENT GENRES IS REMARKABLE....SCORSESE IS MASTER OF MASTERS...AND KUBRICK IS GOD HIMSLEF( THE GOD OF FILMS).

  • @malows1234 SCORSESE HAS NEVER DONE A TECHNICAL FILM OF THE LEVEL OF "2001 SPACE..." BUT KUBRICK ALSO NEVER HAS DONE A FILM THAT MATCH THE POWER, INTENSITY, DRAMA AND PERFORMACENS OF "RAGING BULL" SCORSESE NOT ONLY HAS MADE POWERFUL STORIES IN DIFERENT GENRES LIKE "TAXI DRIVER", "RAGING BULL", "THE AGE OF INNOCENCE","GOODFELLAS",ETC BUT ALSO HAS PROVE TO BE A GREAT DIRECTOR OF MORE TECHNICAL FILMS LIKE IN "THE AVIATOR", "GANGS OF NEW YORK", "HUGO", "CASINO","KUNDUN"

  • @malows1234 A FEW DAYS AGO I WAS READING AN ENTERVIEW OF ROBERT RICHARDONS ( D.P. OF SCORSESE) AND HE SAID THAT IT WAS A CHALLENGE FOR EVERYONE TO PULL OFF THE SEQUENCES THAT SCORSESE PLANIFIED IN HUGO, ALSO HE REMARKS THE EYE FOR LEVEL OF DETAIL THAT SCORSESE HAS. HUGO ISNET JUST A GOOD STORY, WELL NARRATED, IT ALSO TAKES THE NEWEST TECHNICS AND TECNOLOGY TO PUSH IT TO A NEW LEVEL.....CAMERON WHO IS SPECIALIST IN "FX" SAYS HE WAS IMPRESS FOR THE VISUAL RESULT OF HUGO!

  • @Gaston088able lol what the fuck, kubrick never in his life made a emotional, thats not what kubrick did. kubrick made films that examined society through and through, he never had sympathetic characters. he explored issues in society while scorsese explored characters. take for example barry lyndon, it should have been a biography/character study through and through, but instead it was about the nobility in irish, the lives they lead, the society that it was. thats kubrick, thats what he did.

  • @malows1234 I AGREE WITH YOU IN EVERY THING....KUBRICK IS THE GOD...AND SCORSESE THE MASTER.....

  • @Gaston088able thanks man. too bad scorsese is old and kubrick is dead. frankly it pisses me off a little bit. i don't like where film is going lately. thats the truth.

  • @malows1234 yes, like some people who said to me "HUGO" IS A COMERCIAL FILM..."scorsese doesnt make art films anymore like RAGING BUL, THE AGE OF INNOCENCE,ETC,ETC"..for me that isent true....because if "Hugo" is a comercial film....damn... i hope that all camercial movies that hollywood is making this days were at the level of HUGO....yes, kubrick is gone...but his films are forever...yes scorsese is old, but we can spect at least 3 more films in the near future from him, thats good!

  • @malows1234 THATS WHY FOR ME, "THE AGE OF INNOCENCE" IS AN UNDERRATED MASTERPICE FROM MARTIN SCORSESE!...THE FILM IS BEAUTIFUL LOOKING....WITH SOME SCENES SIMILAR TO BARRY LYNDON IN THE LIGHTENING WITH CANDLES....AND IT IS A FILM THAT EXPLORES THE SOCIETY OF 19TH CENTURY OF NEW YORK, BUT ALSO THE RELATIONSHIPS OF THOSE YEARS!...FOR THOSE WHO SAYS "SCORSESE HASENT MADE A PICTURE ABOUT WOMANS"...LIKE THE JOKE THAT THOSE 3 IDIOTIC ACTRESSES MADE TO MARTY IN THE SAG AWARDS LAST WEEKEND!

  • @malows1234 You sure like the phrase "through and through".

  • @Bregowald ha?????

  • @singhvaibhav033 fuck you. don't ever put scorsese and cameron together.

  • can't wait for the Taxi Driver 3D version

  • @ikicaq Are you talking to me?

  • I wonder how Scorsese can watch 3D with those glasses of his

  • @MrM0nkeyman and on top of that, his eyebrows must block his view haha

  • @maabreu1 "Scorsese's eyebrows look like 2 caterpillars trying to mate.." - Robin Williams..

  • @DonRMB lol that's hilarious
