Not sure. I've seen a number of Laffun Heads on eBay, so that applet on there where you can get a ballpark price for an item you're listing, based on past sales, is where I'd start. On the blog page linked to from my "Christmas Creatures" video, I have an archived eBay auction page from 2006 where a Tyrolean Yodeler with original box and papers went for $46.
I assume the water-spitting bladder on yours has disintegrated like the rest? If not, it could be worth a lot more.

Wow, I've never heard of one where the water-spitting still works. Looking at how totally disintegrated the rubber bladder was on my brother's, it was evident that they used a type of rubber that just wasn't spec'd out for long life. Maybe they changed to a better rubber towards the end of the production run, though, or maybe you live in a more moist climate that was able to keep off the dry rot?
Anyway, yeah, it's amazing these uber-creepy things were a mainstream novelty in the 70s!

The owner of the company I was told by Dan... The head of the head's, had died in the early 90's, and so did the business. The last time that my brother had talked to Dan, he was trying to buy the mold's for the faces to start business again, but the owner of the patent would not sell.
