they cancelled the asia tour due to the fact that brandon mother sadly passed away with brain cancer it was in the newspaper about 2weeks ago it said they arnt breaking up and the only reason for the break was cause of his mum rip

the killers are NOT breaking up.

in fact, they're working on a The Kinks cover album with other artists, due out at the end of this year.

breakup rumours of the band are unfounded, check out thekillersmusic . com, and go to one of the articles, i believe it's "statement from the killers", and the last paragraph says all of the break up rumours are false.

they're simply taking a short relaxation period, as they've been touring almost non stop for 6 years. they've commented on the album too.

apparently after their Australian tour they are having a long break from everything and are not sure if they will re group. Dave said it in an interview with the West Australian Newspaper. you might be able to searh the article on the net. I almost cried!

that is completely untrue. Dave never said in the article that they were thinking about breaking up, and since then Ronnie did an interview where he said that they still had things planned to do together for 2010, and that they even had some "cutting-room floor" ideas for the next album. Break rumors are BS!!!
