I disagree,"Dont ask dont tell" should still be implimented in our gov.t gay people are gay because they want to be the other sex, so if you do want to be the other sex STICK WITH THAT!!!!....no gays!!!
You're right that 20 years is too long for student loans to lay on someone's shoulders, but I think that's more a statement on how credit and loans are abused in this country. I think credit reform would be overall more beneficial than simply limiting how long they can haunt someone.
Additionally, as I believe Obama was not for gay marriage, I think it's interesting that he'll let them die for their country, but he doesn't want to let them marry each other.
I hope Obama can help us solve all those isuess he said or at least some. In the end no matter what party anybody is with he is our president at the moment. I just wish the Republicans were not so opposing on so many issues that the president want's to pass on. It's like the country is stuck because they don't wanna work with any of the President proposals.

If loans are forgiven, then who pays for them? The Government does buy taxing you and others. It's more political "feelgood" policies.
