my father used to sing this too us when we were children. he would replace "Wailua" with "Aiea."  I miss my island home.

This song reminds me of my husband Steven Pascua who grew up in Waialua and cherised it. He passed away Aug. 7 2009. His ashes will be brought back to Waialua hopefully next year and be laid to rest in his favorite place. I miss you Steven with all my heart and one day I will be with you again.

Hello, thanks for the comments.... my grandpa said thanks very much for the love and comments on here but then he says that the song "Lovers and Friends". aren't sang by the fabulous krush neither him.

Audy Kimura sings that song. He's a Solo Artist and he is also an Writer/Composer. Oh and yes he also Plays at The "Hy's Steak House" in Waikiki.
