ok, you dont need to post this question everywhere! you wont have a problem with a Nvidia, if you want that to work with a x4 9950 thats fine! Dont worry.
Its semi-modular? It has separate rail outputs but they are not removable. Well, you are not meant to remove them anyway. But a pair of pliers will rip through these like a catholic priest through a young deaf boys clothing.
I had the 530 hiper PSU, same as the one in the video. But it only lasted 4 months with a E8400, 4870 1GB, 3GB DDR2, 1 HDD and 1 DVD rom, just died randomly one day, Then i bought a no named 500Watt been doing good for about 7 months maybe, (PS, for about 3 months i had a 9800GT, on it.)
A commentator said below that he likes you to do more howtos. I actually disagree - I love these hardware reviews, especially since I will be building a new computer in the near future. These reviews help me find less popular, but good quality products that I can swap into my wish lists.
It is SLI Certified, so it now depends on the need for 6pin PCIe connectors. Each GTX285 needs 2x6pin PCIe, for for 3 of these cards you need 6 PCIe onnectors that are 6pin. This PSU has the ability to connect 4x6pin, so doesnt look like you can connect 3, only 2 cards in SLI.
Plenty of connectors for everything and some really good designs like having the whole box ventilated.
Only drawbacks that I can see is that it is not modular. And the odd size fan. Which would make it hard to replace if the fan goes out. Unless a standard 120mm could be mounted in there.
Not too big on brands of PSUs I'm not familiar with, to be honest. PSUs are the one thing I do not skimp on, since one bad PSU can fry everything else in my computer. Usually I only go for Antec or Corsair.
