Astounding how Furlanetto sustains virtuostic singing with comedic acting, including intense physical comedy, scene after scene. If all the performers weren't outstanding, I would have to pronounce Furlanetto star of the show! But all are superb - choosing a best performer isn't possible.

He's good but he's not my favorite Ottavio. At the end there is passion, but not at the beginning of the aria.

"On July 10, 2007, Hadley suffered brain damage after apparently shooting himself in the head with an air rifle at his home in Clinton Corners, New YorkHe was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie, New York, had CAT scans as well as X-rays that showed severe brain injury, and was put on life support. On July 16, 2007, Hadley was taken off life support. He died two days later on July 18" :((

So you think the aria is easy? There is difficult fioritura and no where to breath while going in and out of the passaggio. Trust me, it is hard to sing it well.:)
