@katharine46 Thank you, Suzanne. Let's make this a reality at the Mount Baker Blues Festival this summer. Shawn with his band, the Lil Slim Blues Band one night, then Shawn playing with his dad and the Teardrops the next! We can do this!!!

It was an incredible evening of Blues and Blues History being made. I feel privileged to have been present that night. Opening for Magic Slim and the Teardrops was John Primer and his band.

Magic's first set was highlighted by Buddy Guy sitting in on vocals for a couple of songs just before the set ended and we counted down to the New Year.

Second set featured Magic's son, Shawn "Lil Slim" Holt playing lead guitar, singing lead vocals, blowin' the roof off for most of the 60 minute set!!!
