The mapped line drawings really capture the essence of the characters. If I had one suggestion it would be to keep the animations for the lost eps B&W so that they blend more seamlessly with the rest of the stories, and checking out a book by Burne Hogarth called Dynamic Light and Shade. You've captured the essence of the characters, now if you could capture the essence of the drama and lighting you could really knock peoples socks off as a director.
I have always said, (being a Dr Who recon CGI animator myself ) The BBC should use the vast pool of resources out here to help bring back the lost episodes. Unfortunatly there seems to be a snobbyness about this, and they just don't want to know. Most of us would contribute for free to get these episodes back and it wouldn't cost the Beeb a penny! Just a name credit perhaps.
The BBC forgets that the British people pay them alot of money, and they have never asked us what we want, instead they waste on stupid programmes, it sickens me. If the BBC listened and let us help we'd be willing to pay a little more to do so

why is Mavic Chen blue?
FelixDembinski 2 years ago
At the time, I had been told that Mavic Chen had blue skin - there was a rumor to that effect. I'm not the only one to colour him that way.
Current best rumor has it that a photo exists showing a brownish tan skin colour.
