The thing you have to wonder, why does Leonard go along w/ Sheldon in straightening up the apartment? Either (A) he shares Sheldon's OCD tendecies but sublimates them better, or (B) he so lacking in his own will he is that easily manipulated by others.

I think that idea is that he lacks his own will to a great extent. From the rest of the show get the idea he is supposed to be weak willed. No doubt a result of his mother.

& don't you doubt the writers & producers discussed all this.

Wrong! Sorry my unperceptive BBT fan. Both Sheldon and Leonard had completely different motivation for entering Penny's apartment. Sheldon really DID want to organize/clean the apartment, Leonard, on the other hand, was using Sheldon's OCD as an excuse to engage his olfactory sense in a space that would be awash in Pennyness.

Thus Leonard only appears to be easily led when in FACT...he was actually being quite devious, perhaps even "creepy".

It's because "hijos de perra" is a very strong expression in spanish, and because of that in the translation they had to tone down that part. I don't remember Penny screaming "hijos de perra!" (or "puta", meaning also "bitch" or "whore").

I think they used "pero estais locos o que?" ("you guys are crazy or what?") or something like that.

@flamed65 If you watch the show, you know he's ridiculous and has his strict bathroom schedule. That being said, he was going to have a good day so he could afford to be "whimsy" and eat cereal that is bad for him. Once he hears Penny yelling, he changes his mind and goes for the healthier Bran cereal because of the stress that will be on his system (bran is good for bowel movements). It loses it's humor once it needs to be explained, no offense. I hope that helps.
