You guys are ALL wrong! The fastest sled ever was the z1 turbo and it went 106mph on RADAR, not speedometer! Did you know snowmobile speedometers are over 10% wrong, and more when you go fast???

my 2008 polaris IQ 600, is sick itslike 455lbs, and stockoutof the box 120 Hp, with a liberty motor. i smoke 700's all day long... and not to mention thoes heavy tripples do no good. haha

also 550 r 56hp stock and weight 435 pounds dry mines 87hp 410 pounds dry so it make a big differnce i only wight 140 so it flys like a 600.and your taking about a fucking turbo rx 1 that like a ton they suck ass for carving

I have a mxz 550x that I got in 2007 and besides my dads 08 mxz X 800 it is the best sled I have ridden. It even handles better than the 800. I wish it had more power bacause i went water skipping and it lacked power at around 200 feet.

500cc is for kids. My friend borrowed one of thoes 550f when his rev 600 was broken. When we were out hitting the trails he was allways last when he had the 550, and he said it was a joke of a sled.

ya thats stock 550f with 56hp mines a mxz x 550f x revaled socks and a hightly modified 550 motor that makes out 87hp u say thats week put thin abou a stovk 550f x will do 85mph and then mine will hit close to 90ish in a 660 foot drag race i got beat by a 500ss buy 3 sleds but it was stock and think about quads banshees haul ass and they have about 90hp plus with your yammie sled crap you could even jump you hit one of those super kickers the ramp will claps

well try them on a FLAT lake with hardly any snow on it and have a long straight stretch. You Will find it can do those speeds. I was only about 110 pounds when i did that and I ducked below the windshield. I looked up and I was doing 91 mph on the digital and the analog guage. This year the conditions arn't as good so my mak this year is about 83 mph on hard/soft snow. Try a stock on a super hard lake.

your 440 is geared to go fast of the start. My 550 has the x series clicker shocks so i dont know what your talking about, yes you can beat them with fox floats but youll have a hole in your pocket. the mxz 550x is by far the best budget sled ($4800)
