@salimp01 yes it does i totally modified my dinkit to still hold it. i cut apart the stock deck screen holder to make it. (i might be making a video soon how i did it)
I noticed you didn't use the audio controls on the steering wheel. Do they still work after changing the radio? Sorry, I'm looking to upgrade my radio and I don't know about any of this stuff. Was this more difficult than other cars for changing the radio or is it about the same?
@Alpha2261 yes i do have steering wheel controls working. but i just put in the module i needed about a week ago. if you buy a after market stereo and still want steering wheel controls you will need a pac module "or another company's module" it mainly comes down to what head unit your thinking about putting in.
@davidk1625 i modified the din kit to mount the lcd. mixed parts from the deck, din kit and stock stereo to make it. think you can also buy din kits that hold the lcd
How is it you still have the red display? doesnt it come off with the radio that is installed witht he orignal mazda 3 ?

davidk1625 2 months ago
@davidk1625 you do not use the wire that goes to your lcd display when wiring your deck its a hole separate connector
ghostlyrich 2 months ago
