my dad had a 71 manta blue with white interior cool car! i miss it! my dad got rid of it in 1987 i haven't seen one since then.

Back in my high school days[1982], my dad gave me his old 1972 manta, it was faded yellow with a black engine hood. It was the only one around that i knew of. To this day i remember that car. It never let me down even when ran it without oil.

@MazdaCrazy4Me2Have they sold them here from 1971-75. There's one in the area for sale, but I passed on it parts can be a problem. Out here cars don't rust and it's not unusual to find old cars still in good shape as daily drivers.

Diese Manta Zeit habe ich selbst mitgemacht. Sehr beliebte Autos damals,.............aber Jungs vergesset nicht,..........das waren katastrophale Rostkisten.Ein Freund von mir hat nen nagelneuen Manta gekauft,......und hatte zusätzlich für 17000 DM für den Umbau zum Cabriolett bezahlt. Nach 6 Jahren kam er nicht mehr durch den Tüv! Der Rost hat ihn aufgefressen! Und mein Vater kam mit dem Spachteln nicht hinterher,......der hatte einen Manta -SR Der hatte gerade mal 10 Jahre geschaft.Gruß
