the steel in the buildings had to meet certain standards before being used in the construction. it had to be exposed to temperatures of 2000 degrees for an extended period of time and they did. the steel showed no weakness, was certified and used. also the jet fuel would have quickly burned up and thermal images the wtc showed the building being at regular office fire temperature.

actually I've heard that was molten iron which is a direct byproduct of thermite and steel reacting. also dust samples where taken that from peoples roofs and balconies that showed almost the exact chemical match for thermite in them. So, what is your conclusion? @iSunTzu If you had bothered to watch my video you would see that there's a 40-pound ingot of formerly molten steel from the WTC. There were also the partially vaporized samples that were analyzed by FEMA scientists for Appendix C. For steel to vaporize, it must first melt. The issue is that the jet fuel was not hot enough to melt steel, but we have molten steel. The obvious conclusion is that incendiaries were used. See my video:

There is testimony from many people--including a PhD structural engineer and a NYT reporter. There is a 40-pound ingot of the stuff taken form Ground Zero. Leslie Robertson told an audience at Stanford that he saw "a little river of steel flowing."

Last time I checked, something must be liquified before it can evaporate. Dr. Barnett's institution, WPI, published an article about the work called "The Deep Mystery of Melted Steel" that has been on the internet for six years, and is not corrected. Dr. Astaneh-Asl told PBS "I saw melting of girders at Ground Zero." That's steel.
