I don't know if you realize this, but making a video verbatim and matching it exactly with the lyrics is considered quite goush and pase. I would suggest trying some metaphorical imagery next time. Otherwise you come off as sloppy and not very imaginative.

Death makes a lot more sense with the rest of the lyrics. There's obviously something from the past troubling this person. when Conor asks "Is this deah really you?" It's as if to say the person is forcing themselves to stop living. "No, no, I think it's more like a ghost that's been following us both." Could be the death of someone else that'd doing all the troubling?
