My own district Bellview where I live has a very nice volunteer station but I really hate to say it but they are nothing but assholes.There always playing the blame game chief Johnson is a total dick to our first meeting he accused me of breaking into the front door when he was asleep and then tried to say he was sorry.I guess a EMT guy I met lied to the chief.Ferry pass isn't as nice because of it's age but at that station,station 4 and 6 feel like a family of brothers like you feel at home.

@ap13461 Hey man you guys volunteer or paid?I am supposed to be having test done on october the 15th of my brain because of two seizures last month and one seizure in 08 I am on Keppra now and haven't had one yet knock on wood..The nueroligist say's theres no doubt in my mind you can become a firefighter because meds can control seizures.My determination is what amazed him like i.e me working out and doing cardio with bruised ribs and seizure after effects

@ap13461 I have been to three stations so far Ferry Pass volunteer which is suppose to be commercial and one of the best volunteer stations in Florida.I talked to station 4 a professional station and they were saying don't worry man 3/4 of our department are adhd you will fit right in.I also went to station 6 probably 4 miles or so from Sacred Heart Hospital talked to a few career firemen and they said you should be able to become one man you would be a great one.

@ap13461 rofl man great video I am 18 and getting myself into shape to become a volunteer fire fighter I took my PAT test Tuesday came so close but failed I made a bit of mistakes first time in gear in like 97 degree weather and I couldn't keep control of that damn 3 inch walking up 5 stories.The last 6 times they had to call the ambulance 4 times for people that pushed themselves.All I had left was two flights of stairs and a 185 pound dummy pull and I would have passed.
