  • Thank you for you story about instrument, good luck with your music practice

  • 1:50 Gånglåt från Äppelbo :D I know how to play it, but on a regular violin

  • I'd like He to plays "Mats Gard" with the Nyckelharpa.

  • @luxiana89 Geez, now I REALLY want to track this guy down.. Still haven't been by the Signal Hill Bluegrass Soup Jam but/and if you're in the Long Beach, CA area early Feb, Christian Howes (jazz violinist) will be playing with TED Bluegrass (Tom, Evan, Don - this was filmed at Don's huge warehouse).

Again, BlueTuesdays (com ) is the shortcut to the specifics for the Jam... If I see him, I'll have to bring up this vid on my iPhone and show him your request, then videotape it for you!

  • @ThePrimeSpotcom Thank you so much , you're very kind. Mats Gard is a very special song for me. Unfortunately I'm in Peru and it's going to be a little bit difficult (impossible) to be in California, but thanks :D

  • You played very well! Great to se a keyed fiddle in a bluegeass context, must have been very interesting to hear. From the symbol on the head (?) of the nyckelharpa I can tell it's made where I live, in Uppsala (or at least in the vincinty), pretty cool that it has made it across the ocean!

  • @1891serru Thanks for the info! If you ever come to Long Beach, CA, take the "virtual tour" of The LBC by visiting ThePrimeSpot.TV ;)

  • Quiero uno de esos, snif

  • What is the name of the maker of this harpa?

  • @alltubez According to the latest post, it was made in Uppsala, Sweden. I haven't been back to "BlueTuesdays" to find out more byt google can prob help you..

  • That nyckelharpa was incredible, I've never seen such an amazing musical instrument. Part fiddle, part guitar and part harpsichord---it just boggles the mind. That was quite a coup recording something that unique. Paul's quite an artist. Keep on recording those amazing moments in that wonderful HD!
