it was never about keepers, we have good keepers all of them..it's just wenger's tactic hasnt been producing consistent result over the years...and hie preference for players like flamini, alex song, frimpong...these r red card players who have minimal skills but lunge and tackle without their brains...look at where they are today...even flamini...is a nobody now..

Simple as a goalkeeper fabianski is the best providing the goalkeeping coach improves and works with him on his positioning and handling of crosses into the box almunia is good at blocking that's about it!

almunia used to be terrific through 2008-2010, if wenger really works hard with fabianski in his collecting crosses ability he would be great, scyzeny is confident and strong however doesnt have as good reflexes as fabianski and he seems to let many goals as well, just no as many mistakes in, all in all in fabianski works on his toughness ability he should be arsenals #1

The second last goal shown there shouldn't have been one in my opinion: the Blackburn player who looks to be number 8 pushes back on the Arsenal defender, forcing the keeper back and unable to jump to the ball. (This is clearer in the second footage shown of this goal). Seems a very professional foul because he tries to make it look as if he's avoiding the ball or something similar.

I can't blame the keeper (Fabianski) for that.

Why can nobody ever remember the good saves? People only seem to remember the failures, and then criticise them constantly for it.

But it would be nice to have a confident, quality keeper that can be consistant. Even if he is another froggie!

It's true. Fabiański fail a lot of situation but now we can see how strong mentally he is. When Arsenal lost match beacuse fail of Fabiański everybody scream and said "OMG Fabiański is so low go off from Arsenal" But now he is in verygood condition and Arsenal owe him Win match.

I would say sack almunia, replace him with sorenson, sack mannone, (he deserves better), move szczesny to number 2 and fabianski to 3. Also, I don't know about you, but as long as a player's playing for us, I will never boo them. When they've left, maybe, but not while they're playing for us.

And Wenger wouldn't sell a player just because they'd been booed e.g. Eboue (thank goodness he didn't). I would never boo one of our own players anyway, but that's just me.

Well it's actually right to say that they are fantastic shot STOPPERS (as in, they make good reaction and reflex saves along with great one-on-one and penalty saves) but they are poor decision makers.

Look at that Almunia's performance against Barca. He made 6 world-class saves in the first half before botching one simple clearance. This shows exactly why he should not be our Number 1.

We need a new goalkeeper, and either one of these two inconsistent custodians will be heading for the exit.
