AIG said they want to pay back the Federal Reserve by borrowing from our US TREASURY DEPARTMENT. Taxpayers on the hook again? Let private corporations go bankrupt! It isn't a novel ideal.

What the hell is wrong with our elected officials, that they can't see what's wrong with our system? Are they all deaf and dumb?

@charloteer Let's not forget that in less than two years after the Savings and Loan Crisis, President Bush Sr had more than 1,000 convictions of banker elites for fraud. These convictions weren't the tellers, they were ceos, presidents, vice presidents, board members, etc.

So far this time, we don't have any convictions of top elite bankers. William K Black (one of Bush Sr's regulators) explained all of this in an interview on Bill Moyers Journal back in May of 2009.

The US government is so corrupt and so in bed with these banking criminals, and dependent on the Feral reserve to keep printing money, which is debasing the currency so the politicians can keep spending borrowed money which is bankrupting this nation, that this whole channel is just one sick joke.

@UU361 Government creates the environment that leads to the crisis then "fixes" the crisis in a way that at best fails and at worst creates a new crisis and then it starts all over again. The only predictable outcome is that the politicians and their friends in banking and at large corporations will make out like the bandits they are. When will America wake up to this fascist arrangement?
