  • great tutorial! :) should i cut it then bake it or bake it then cut it?

  • @TorchPegasus2089 Thank you! Cut before baking.

  • THIS IS HOW ALL FOOD SHOULD BE MADE.

  • @XxEmoSnowdayxX Thank you! =)

  • HEART! I LOVE THIS! <3

  • @invisibletroop101 Thank you very much!

  • Hi! I was just wondering why you started to make clay stuff, such as miniature food?

    (;

    Love your videos

    Anja

  • @anjafange I used to make things out of real clay as a hobby. Then I was too busy to go to the craft-hobby place where they had the real clay & special clay oven. SO I wanted to try out something I could do at home..without owning a special clay oven that'd heat up to 100000degrees :P So i tried air-dry clay, which I hated. And then I found out about polymer clay..which is kitchen-oven-baked. And loved it! :)

  • @GentlemanBunny Interesting ;)

  • Hi there. I have a question. When I try to cut it, the colors smudge together. How do i prevent that?

  • @xxCutenDeadlyxx Put it to the fridge for a sec..and then cut it.

  • Hello! I have a question, can i try any color 4 d filling of the cake..u know, the pink one..4 me it looks great when it's pink or red..but i ran out of pink..can i?

  • @kenchiez Sure :)

  • really cute! when you cut it open, it looks like beef wellington! nice job!

  • @tysonrocksmyworld :D! Thank you!

  • love your videos! they are way better than any of the others ive seen. and came in handy! keep it up!

  • @xoxfromcanada Thank you! =)

  • heyy i just noticed youre a lefty! so am i! :D

  • @AutumnLeafiffy Yuuup :)!!

  • how much does the clay cost?

  • @lisha2737 Depends where you live. Here in Finland it is a little bit expensive. In USA, it's a few dollars per small package of clay.

  • I love it!! Thankssssss.. Every video is amazing!

  • @Alexia1323 Thank you!

  • I love making cakes like this- the most fun part is cutting a slice out of the cake

  • @SweetAngelGirl Yuup!! :)

  • I watched almost all of your videos and all of them were fantastic! I make them for my american girl dolls, I think my dolls even enjoy your videos! :D

  • @AmericanGirl01970 Thank you so much!

  • @nailicious23 Yay, go for it!

  • @XoXForeverStarXoX I have dirt on my white clay too.. it's impossible to keep it 100% clean. Hmm strawberry cheesecake. YUM! :)

  • whenever i cut it my colors always seem to smear together, anyway to stop this?

    thanks

  • @FMAandBLEACH Hmm..not really. Try cutting when it has "cooled down"..so it's not too soft..so..put it in the fridge for sec before cutting =)

  • I was watching and I just started cracking up when I realized what you were doing! Absolutley genius! Probably the only time I'd be able to eat a full cake and not feel bad about it..lol.

  • @alyssa4694 Thank you very much! :) Hehe, you would feel bad about it, because of the terrible stomach ache and broken teeth - from eating clay :P

  • @sunnyysun33 Hehe *gives you some* :)

  • thats why they put the pink i there. at first i was like y not just make it all white n not waste the pink, but then they cut it, n i was like ahh! i see! lol

  • @128katydid Thank you! =)

  • y is ur name gentlemanbunny

  • @007leet Because bunnies were the first thing I ever made of polymer clay. And "Gentleman Jack" is my first "original" chararter I ever made..it's a Skellington Jack look-a-like.

  • nice cake, looks so elegant !! i love it so much , it looks real , icing , which clay uue use for this yeah ??

  • thats the first cake i would want to eat and i can not

    very good job

  • @spiidger Thank you :)

  • very creative n.n I love your stuff! Do you think I could do the same with sculpey? :o or would it be better to just get the clay you use?

  • Thank you :) I use Sculpey, FIMO, Cernit...

  • i tried this.. it was very sucessful until i cut it.. the pink kind of cut abit into the brown layer.. why is this so? is it because of my cutting ?? Btw thxs for this tutorial!

  • Hmm, you could put the clay cake into a fridge/freezer for a sec..so the clay is cold and hard when you cut it. Then the colours should not blend together too easily.

  • how old r u

  • I'm 22.

  • that is TOO cute!

  • Thank you!! :)

  • unfortunately, it's really difficult to find Fimo polymer clay in my country ... :'((

  • Aww :(

  • what do u use thouse food things for?

  • I think most people don't "use" them. I think it's more about the fun of making them :) or to show off your skills.

But I know people who give them to little girls to put in doll houses.

  • Yup, I don't usually use them for anything. Sometimes I sell them (people use them for dollhouses etc.) or make jewelry out of them.

  • thats very creative and pretty

  • Thank you so much!

  • this is cute :D it would look great with some texture to make it look even more real :D

  • Thank you.

i reccomand your video 2 everyone because its easy, simple, SHORT (love those kind of vids) and at least YOU explain wat u are using and give us tips and all. ANOTHER THANK YOU!! u should be an artist or something!!!! you are a very creative person!! hope to see more videos!!!

just one more thing can you show us how much of your clay ur using so we can get a simular result?? thanks

  • I'm not an artist yet? :P Just kidding!! Well usually at the beginning of my videos I have round balls of each clay color that I am going to use. And that's also the estimated amount.. that you need more of a specific color and less of another one.

  • right. sorry! but gr8 vids! i can't get over them! and the artist thung.....i didnt mean that ur not an artist or anyhting i meant that u should be on tv and show ur master pieces cause the last time i checked tv is boring so with u on it i will be on all the time! ur right about the balls thingy thx!! keep up the......AWSOME, COOL, UNDESCRIBABLY GREAT VIDEOS as much as i want to leave u a good comment i dont know any good words! sorry thanks 4 the SPEECHLESS GREAT EXCELLENT VIDEOS!!!!!!

  • where can i buy fimo clay ?

  • Hobby Lobby

  • PEARL arts and crafts supply store.

  • Oh, and, what type of polyer do you use? There's polymer II, III... I'm a little confuzzled. I've been trying to look up which polymer to buy, and I want whaever you use because it looks to be amazing consistency :)

  • I use Sculpey, FIMO & Cernit. So, everything :)! Sculpey II, III etc. can be confusing. I use Sculpey Premo.

  • I made a few of these yesterday, thanks to you! I made a three tiered wedding cake, too :) But out of gum paste, which is a bit harder to use, but it comes out just as cute!

  • Thank you!

  • very pretty!!

  • Thank you!

  • I know this sounds stupid but, what is that tool/knife thingy you are using to cut everything?

  • thats a razor blade

  • It is a "craft knife". But you can use any knife :)

  • you are so amazing! ;)

  • so perfect!!

  • this is amazing :] so little clay goes a long way 5/5

    OMGGGAAWSSH (L)________________(L)

(And when you're done, you have to put it in the magnetron/oven, or what?)

  • Thank you!!!! Yup after I'm done I bake it in a kitchen oven :)

  • Hi there! I just started playing around with clay. Ive been struggling with a brand of japanese clay which is so soft that its hard to work with. Any recommendations as to what brand of clay I should experiment with?

  • I've tried that japanese clay. It's so different from polymer clay. It's so light and doesn't "stick" too easily..and it cracks when it dries. Ahem, anyways you should try and find Sculpey or FIMO. Those are easy to work with :)

  • Yeah the Japanese clay is paper clay which is like paper machette mixed with clay. It's very expected that it would crack since it has paper materials in it. I have bad experience with Sculpey because the clay gets too soft and sticky. FIMO is more expensive than Sculpey though =/ (Here in the US anyway). Thanks for you the wonderful tutorial!

  • Looks good enough to eat!

  • Thank you very much!

  • can you make macaroons

  • I wonder why macaroons have become so popular these days.. So many polymer clay artists are NOW making macaroons.. :P I've never made them but I could try :)

  • you are amazing!

  • Thank you!

  • Lovin' Your Video! Thanks for the knowledge.

    Is that Manhattan Tranfer singing?

  • Thank you :)! That's actually a finnish a-capella group "Rajaton".

  • lolol!! that is really cool! x]]

  • Thank you! :D

  • i love all of your video ... they're amazing ... !!!... but i wonder when u bake it in the oven ... but i have a question ..usually how long it stay in there and what degree? ...

    and ur music r very interesting ... i like it ... ^^..

  • It explains the time & degree in the polymer clay package. Different polymer clay types have a slightly different time&degree.

  • thank u

  • OMG that this is SOOO cute!

  • Thank you very much!!

  • Wow the "music" was terrible... completely ruined a brilliant song.

  • Haha too bad :)

  • have you ever cut your hand before? i get so scared when i see you work with the knife on your hand ; ;

btw, when you slice the cake, how do you do it so cleanly? whenever i try to slice stuff, the ends seem to flatten |:

  • Well I kind of only "press" the knife into the clay. I don't "slide" the blade.. and therefore it does not cut you. Slicing soft clay is difficult. You should try and put the finished clay sculpture into a freezer or somewhere just for a minute or two. Then it's easy to slice it without it becoming flat :)

  • !! Thanks so much for the freezer idea!

I've been struggling with soft clay |:

  • Yeah, soft clay is a problem. Especially FIMO clay and some certain colors of it...

  • That was fantastic!! your brill and i love the music too.

  • Thank you! <3

  • wow that is cute!

i am starting to make little things like earrings from clay to sell, and this very inspiring. love the music as well!

    thanks, ^_^
