  • Designed by hitler´s megalomany........... as most of his super buildings, that monster would have not been possible.

BIIIG, BIGGER, MUCH BIGGER!!!.... for ME, MEEE, MEEEEE!!!!

  • Would have been easy to hit it with a bomb, kinda hard to miss.

am i the only one who thinks the great hall looks like a giant nipple?

  • he should have been more focus on buildings instead of war and killing ppl.

but i guess the world is better off without him :D

  • is it just me or does that look like hitlers face in the architecture at 2:09 hahaha :P

  • @vidarmoose Where?

  • It's a very interesting documentary, too bad about the stupid music, if they wanted to point out that whole "nazis were evil" dogma why didn't they just put the imperial march from star wars on loop? You could definitely tell it's an american program even without the annoying narrator.

  • To me, it seems like Hitler's experiences of inferiority as a struggling artist later lead to his narcissistic behavior and textbook case of megalomania.

@WinstonWinsby I think you're right. He was certainly overcompensating for something.

  • ‘You can fit two Saturn V Rockets in there and still have enough room to fly a small helicopter around’

One can all but love the English for their sarcasm and humour, taking a dig at the bohemian Corporal, or rather his architect

    //Swede

  • were this buildings built? and then destroyed? or it was just Hitler's paper work?

  • 2:09 does that shadow in the background, behind the eagle, kinda look like Hitler, with the mustache and his side combed hair??

  • @AZIlluminati08

i think thats hitler :D looks like ^^

  • Since when are Germans like Americans?! Bigger = better??

  • the thing that makes me laugh is no matter how impressive these structures Hitler wanted to build would have been, they would all have been rip offs of older more impressive buildings. His Kongresshale was just a bigger Colosseum. His stadium was just a bigger Colosseum or Olympic Stadium from ancient Greece, the arch was like they said a rip off of the Arch de Triomphe, the domed building looked like the capital in Washington DC to me, way to be inventive Hitler...

  • @RyZombie619 Not really a rip-off in Hitler's view, to him these monuments were continuing the chain of western heritage as established by Ancient Rome who Hitler said were Nordics. A lot of writers 100 years ago use to say that the Romans were mostly Nordic until around the time Caligula 37-41 AD when the non-Nordics began to dominate.

  • he seemed a little to obsessed with size. And wanting everything to be big.....

  • @thiefoftime101 Maybe he was hiding something...

  • @thiefoftime101 maybe he had a small dick... :)

  • Hitler was a fool, but German scientists were the geniuses of our time. Jets, nuclear energy and weapons, rockets, the moon program, stealth aircraft, helicopters, all credit stolen from the Germans, and many of them were nazis. I shudder to think our culture of gangs and turning your hat backwards or sideways and covering your body in tattoos is capable of coming up with anything a fraction as brilliant.

  • @stevensw

Hitler was a genius, no matter how evil or good he was.

    ...

    Um, he was good too.

  • @stevensw

Actually no, he was a fool.

He allowed the Third Reich to crumble into nothingness. It was up to him, the stubborn ass, and he made an incalculably catastrophic blunder.

Refusing to see the evil within the Briton, the malevolent white glow of hatred and chaos and disintegration, the bitter gene memory of effortless Roman subjugation...

Refusing to see the British as the opposite of the German, he doomed us all.

The imbecile!! It all emanated from that f***ing island!!

  • @TheGoodWinston You misunderstand Hitler completely, he was a gambler and he gambled for high stakes, while most of us play it safe Hitler dared it all and lost.

  • @SaveSoaps

That doesn't describe his personality and general thought pattern too well, methinks. Yes the odds were against him and his work, but that doesn't make him an unhinged charlatan, which is what the term connotes.

  • How could he of seen and got inspiration from the Pantheon in 1938? He unvieled the plans for the Great Hall in 1936.

  • @8Rickio8

Let's just think about this here.

This man not only ranked among the greatest, most passionate politicians of all time - matched by ancient Romans I would say - but he was an unrivaled Creative.

Not simply in his paintings or his architectural ventures, not even the monumental political artwork that we peered at only for a brief burst, but the human faculty of Creativity itself was under his sway!

  • I just wonder if it'll be viable to clean the dome...

  • That brit guy must be a Jew

  • If you pause it on 2:11 you can see a shadow cast of Hitler on the top of the middle screen..

  • He seems to want to copy everything from the world, only bigger, bigger and bigger!

  • @toronto1234

    That's just the beginning!

    Wait for generations to come.

    This was only a taster.

Only a crumb of an aperitif, from the boundless celestial sustenance made Earthborn and temporal by Hitler's willl!

    Reflect on it.

  • ... what? do you really think this building can be built with waged labor?

Were talking about (if hired people) 500 workers, for more than 50 years (~100 years +).

I dont wanna sound sadistic (though I am), but slaves are needed to build something like this, just look at the pyramids (well that is, if you want it built fast).

  • @MaxBlight

The pyramids were built by paid workers.

  • @TheGoodWinston ... well yeah, the basic needs. Water, food, clothes, and probly a house?

  • @MaxBlight

They weren't indentured into chattel slavery, that's what I mean.

  • Rain??? ja that's why we invented air conditioners, or just make holes...stupid documentary just trying to bring down Hitler and the nazis like always

  • all of hitlers ideas where stupid

  • @n8tivguitar and so as our modern airplane, ships, spaceships.

Oh wait, thats right, your one of those idiots who never looked into the future.

    God bless you ^^

  • @MaxBlight ok little furher...but hitlers gone so give credit where credit's due hitler had nothing to do with shit but the loss of a war the only thing he succeeded in was giving his people a nation and insuring they get the piddy of the world...besides half the people in here live in 1938 some future

  • @n8tivguitar You have no ideas at all besides listening to music and getting stoned, dumbass.

  • @SaveSoaps now Stalin he had great ideas and he won the war the only good idea that jew (hitler) had was to give his people sympathy so they could have a nation of there own and if you say anything about them "Holocaust" end of story now invade.

  • @n8tivguitar You do know that Hitler didn't plan to lose the war? And that he only first mentioned the war being lost 8 days before his suicide so your theory that Hitler was this Jew who planned to lose the war to expose the Holocaust to the world to benefit the Jews is nonsense because if Hitler had won the war we would never even know the Holocaust existed because the Allies would never see those camps.

  • @SaveSoaps

    Flaw theory

The allies already knew about the holocaust before they manage to get there

Thousands of Germans knew about the killings. It wouldve been impossible to keep the secret

  • 800m skyscrapers are irrational as well

  • Damn lazy slaves.

  • Hitler was way much more over his head then i expected.... Over confidence was his weakness.....

  • @Attilaakiraly "Your faith in your friends is yours."

  • @Attilaakiraly But there is also genius in what he does, creating such projects would increase the moral of the people, give them something to look up to but enjoy being a part of. Such advantages would vastly increase the power of their will. If this super city had been completed it would have been the most effective and empowering propaganda projects in the history. In terms of resources it was a waste, but in terms of the manipulation of thought it was perfect in every sense of the word.

  • @Attilaakiraly don`t fall for the propaganda....

  • @Attilaakiraly He started off relatively strong...don't get me wrong, the guy was an animal, but his first year or two of power were a financial and military upswing for Germany. He fell into the same trap so many do, ego...he thought himself some sort of demi-god, once that happened it was only a matter of when, not if, he'd crumble and fall.

  • Only pathetic little small-time coward would NOT.

  • Oh yeah ... you're right ... only stupid people would agree with you ...

  • No surprise that only an idiot like yourself wouldn't be impressed with this architecture.

You're a mental midget, commie scum.

  • Thus spoke the dwarfing neo-nazi squirt ...

  • And only a piece of commie shit like yourself wouldn't be impressed.......where are the documentaries on commie architecture?

  • LOL....weak.....afterall, we know faggots only come from the left side of the political spectrum....ahem, that's you.

  • You are impressed by size ... that's true ...

  • why would hitler think something is so terribly great when it would be constructed by jews?

  • @ooglizer Jews weren't going to build it.

  • hitler was an idiot.

    It's easy :

    First War, then build.

  • Exactly, he shoulda won i know

  • @1Pr0digy WRONG, you aren't grasping this, the giant buildings were to be built in celebration of those victorious wars. Without the war of conquest and the giant German Empire's creation there was no justification for these huge structures. That's why Hitler placed the finish date for these buildings in 1950 which in his view would be after the war of Empire had been won.

  • @SaveSoaps dont take everything so serious.

Of course I know. German history lessons are about 60% 3rd Reich ;)

But all in all the plan was in en bloc as simply stupid as i said in my first comment.

Even in nower days people are misled by nazy propaganda. In germany only few people wanted the war. All they wanted was strong eco, independance and their pride back. Hitler abused that and the fact we still had a prussian obedience-society. This is in fact the reason why he built BEFORE he destroyed

  • The Great Hall would have required a powerful air conditioning system. With a 100,000 plus people packed into that dome, the combined body heat would have made it unbearable. And condensation from breath creating rain? That can't be very sanitary.

  • Even so, he was admiring its size which is extremely large , even by todays standards.

  • @Poopookachew1

I'm positive Hitler was also insane. An insane leader who miraculously was in the right place at the right time to gain the position of a dictator. I mean, yeah he was twisted...but if this Supercity ever came to fruition, it would literally have more technological wonders than any current civilization today.

  • @Poopookachew1 Sorry, this was meant to go to Attilaakiraly

  • @Poopookachew1

The Apollo moon program is a Germanic project, one prepared under the auspices of National Socialism.

You read right. Men on the Moon is a National Socialist German accomplishment.

Don't be fooled by American and Soviet intellectual theft, subterfuge and calumny. All the expertise, the creative reservoir of talent
