I have written the pattern out. The pattern for the stars is included in the pattern for the flag. I can't find a way to post the PDF file here; but if you email me (nebraska_650@cox.net) I can respond with the pattern as a PDF document attachment. Thank you all for the great comments. I'll try to make a video of making the afghan. Right now I'm creating the pattern (I did the blanket backwards - out of my head instead of from a written pattern). After I get that pattern out, I will do a video series on the making of it. For color change, I do a normal color change; working the last yo of a dc or sc with the new color and dropping the old color.
I would love the pattern to the whole flag, as I'm sure many others would as well. Thanks so much for your videos. I especially love the wavy flag.

currently working on the american flag afgan the first row you have to crochet 125 chains then add blue then crochet 100 chains
