@x3rawrjoycex3 lol no it wont work the male needs to spray sperm on the eggs after the female lays them all over the tank :D so they have to stay together untill the eggs are fertalised xD then take the 2 fish out or they will devour the eggs :)

Hello. If you want a super easy live plant to use with your guppies, check it Hornwort. I I got this and duckweed in my main tank and I am always throwing the stuff away.... Grows like crazy, but I have had alot of luck breeding a variety of fish with this stuff. Tigerbarbs, Cherry barbs, bronze cory, Mollies, and my guppies.

Stuff is awesome for your water too. Check out angelfishplus if you want to get some, where I got mine and have had the same plant for three years.

@joyoshie some female guppies have fake pregnancy's to make the males back off so just keep a eye on here and once the dot has gone put a male in there i would suggest putting 2 females per male because then if you add more males there wont end up killing each other

dude r u kidding me u have to know how to sex them females have a shell shaped bottom fin as well as a gravid spot males are straight and pointed get ur facts straight it happens just about every 28 days for live bearing fish and you don't have to have a male in there at all times females can hold sperm for 3 months after the first breeding...the ratio is normally 1 male for every 3-4 females to produce the most amount of babies and if u don't want them eaten by the adults get LOTS of plants

i'm a total beginner to the guppy breeding...i did have the adults in a cold water tank and big mom gup had 16 fry! we've had a few deaths (2 of my most colourful men gups boohoo) and around 4 of the fry but was a problem with the tank not the fish! the babies had own tropical tank, and were fine..growing well, problems started when i put all the adults in with the babies (babies aged aprox 2mth) i have some lush colours on the babies...they looked like male endlers to begin with but bigger now

first of all take the damn goldfish out they absolutely cannot be together!  the goldfish need colder water and in warm water release toxins and yes the fry will get ate you will be lucky if 1 or 2 survive even if your going to breed you need a real set up seperate fry tank and but with a real set up be prepared because you will have hundreds in about two weeks i have 100!
