the thing I really don't like in the game: the Commander never speaks; I mean, the other sergeants often talk to each other (i.e. about how Captain Thule lost his eye, how do Tyranids compare to Necrons, why are Zoanthropes such powerful psykers etc.), but the Commander never says a word

@pranker121 On offense taken, but you should know couple of things. Those you saw in this video were artistic influenced intros of first mission. The gameplay looks more "realistic." Compared to most tactical games this one looks amazing. Put Starcraft 2 and Dow2 on line and you will see.

The game you probably were meaning is Space Marine, which is coming to xbox 360. This game probably will not be on any console platform, only for PC.

the Cmdr is a made up character thats suposed to represent you. Capt Thule from Dark Crusade is in there as u can see and serves as the main hero unit. I CAN asure u that Angelos is in this game and serves a key role.

I think I finally understand what is wrong with Dawn of War II, they've made the same mistake as was made with the film Halloween 3: Season of the Witch. Already we had two films with Michael Myers in, and we went to the theatres for this one expecting to see him again. But alas, he was not there. It should have been released as Season of the Witch, with no link to the Halloween franchise. And I think the same could be said here, releasing under Dawn of War's mantle caused the same false link

Thusly, people bought this game expecting more of the real-time strategy they had enjoyed in Dawn of War and it's expansions. I'm sure that set aside from the Dawn of War franchise, and under a new name, this game would not have recieved the majority of the bad reviews it got, it looks like a really good stand alone game

Yeah but the campaign I find was shit! I mean the Story was good and every thing but you can only play as the Space Mairnes (Witch I find are Pussys!) If you could Play as the Imperail Guardsmen only the Campain would be alot harder because you would need more Troops and because of the Campain leting you only command 4 Squads that woul be very hard and you would be a Very Good player if you could beat the campain then

Once you spot an ork infestation you MUST wipe it out as fast as possible or they will become too big and powerful to contain and they will overwhelm you. start with the leaders then work your way down then after every last ork is dead, you should burn the very ground to ash, because the ork fungus spores could be in the dirt, and they will just make more orks

Your an idiot, the Orks have no concept of courage. nor do they have any concept of pain. to them war is like a drug to them, its like crack. they cannot get enough of it. you can only delay the orks, by taking out thier leaders. unless you pretty much bomb the hell out of the them orbit, you are never going to get rid of them all. even then they will be back, cause orks give off spores which grow into more orks, they are like fungus.

In Dawn of war, Space Marines (for some reason) have access to everything, for instance, in this game, even though there is no Chaplain, you can still get a Rosarius, you can get Blind Grenades, which are only usually used by Rogue Traders, and you can give Terminator Armour to Devastators, Assault, and Tactical squads for some reason. It's a game which is extremely fun and addictive, and yet makes NO sense whatsoever.
