Ah Venom, one of the greatest fuckin' Metal bands of all time. Their demonic riffs and evil lyrics inspired black and thrash metal, though I dare say modern black metal bands are shit compared to what inspired them. In that regard, Venom is and always will be the best Black Metal band ever to exist.

Venom was teh biggest influence on Black Metal, and they didnt just influence thrash metal, they were actually the first thrash metal band ever, Welcome to Hell is definitly thrash metal and they also influenced death metal a little

Venom are perhaps the most underrated band ever, they influenced 3 of teh best kinds of metal and they created one, these guys are legends but no one seems to recognize it
