Wow, I just learned that most shredder's guitars have concave spaces between the frets. You can really see it in this video. They never touch the fingerboard in many cases. This obviously helps to play these lightening passages, but impressive no matter what.

@newnoggin2 scalloped frets is what they are called. A lot of players, not just "shredders" use them. I hate the word "shred" hahaha. I've played on a couple guitars that have them, pretty cool really!

Look people, when it comes to this style of playing, Yngwie should be the one getting the credit, because he created it.

And he does play with his heart and soul, on stage i see him having fun, kicking his leg out and flicking his hair, enjoying what he does best.

Yngwie is European, so thats why he embraces all that European classical music.

I don't hear Tak playing, based on his own oriental classical music.

There's a lot of harmonic minor/ phyrgian dominant in there. Learn some theory, your playing will be all the better for it :)
