And about that final episode, that is one thing that really confuses me about predestination paradoxes, the future is changed and John Connor is not the leader or has even been heard of. No reason for Skynet to kill him and Kyle to sacrifice himself. So yeah, you're right, Skynet will leave him alone and John will be fathered by someone else and lead a normal life until 1997. Wierd stuff, eh?
