the only down side is youll run out of cam up top cause it came out of the rv. ithink that cam is from idle to 4200 do a cheap cam swap and youll be really scootin

@MiloMovieMakers ????????? im sure you know that mopar is quite expensive by now. im a chevy guy but i will say the 440 is a stout engine. but like most big blocks they lack top end .why go threw all the money of stroking and supercharging it when you will just be spinnin you know what i mean.with that cam swap youll be fast enuff and youll still have money for tires :)

@jhizzylawnman haha we know itl be alot more tire spinning, but i wanted to have a solid 650 horse for fun. We havent actually been to a real drag strip yet but its on my things to do list.

@jhizzylawnman, typical 440 slow turd, you don't need to mention like most big blocks and lacking top end in the same sentence because that is not a true statement. It is all about bore to stroke ratio, brand and engine parts, a BBC can have as much top end as a SBC.

@stephens67 youre right there but i was just sayin a cheap cam swap would wake it up most big blocks were desinged to pull .........any engine can have top end .its all in what you put in it but from the factory most big blocks werent really desinged to go past 5500 he has a light dune buggy low end tourqe is not really needed ......no hard feelins.
