No unfortunately it's not compatible with trance, but Logitech said the next beta firmware should add support for it. They've also confirmed that techno will not be supported due to licensing issues.

so.... if your using an iphone..... then why didnt u go down the airport express/apple remote route which would hav been cheaper and hav a wider use?

silvershogun, I have an Airport Express (AE) and the Apple Remote on my iPhone, but the AE does not allow for streaming to multiple units like the Squeezebox Receiver (SBR) does. You can hack it with Airfoil from Rogue Amoeba, but then you have to use Remote Buddy to control the multiple units and it gets messy. Also, I can't send different songs to different units with that setup; with the SBR, my wife can listen to her music in the kitchen while I listen to my music in the shop.
