  • i support cakewalk sonar

  • damn thanks alot!!

so now all i need is a audio interface and a mic

ima try and get cubase and protools

  • jus remember don't get obsessed with the cubase vs. reason vs FL studio thing. they all do the exact same thing just use what's more comfortable

  • cool, I have a few quick vids with 100's of tips for songwriting & home studio done cheap but good.

    Drop in.

  • would you be able to give a similar tutorial regarding a mixer studio. I have the mv8800 as my workhorst but also plan to get a computer to have the best of both worlds.

  • the best ever is ADOBE AUDITION 3 IT COST ABOUT 400$ BUT YOU CAN GET IT FREE IF YOU SEARCH HERE ON YOUTUBE HOW TO GET ADOBE FOR FREE OR SOMETHING LIKE THATS I DID I HAD TO WAIT FOR 4 HOURS IS VERY EASY TO DOWLOAD AND INSTALL BUT IS VERY HARD TO USE IF YOU HADNT USE ANY ADOBE OR COOL EDITION BEFORE

  • I have Adobe Audition 3.0 and 1.5 myself, they are Nothing compared to Cubase SX 3 4 example, or Logic 8 or ProTools for that fact, it doesn't even beat FL Studio ^^ ..

And for $100 more u get Cubase 4, so good luck promoting it ^^

  • haha adobe audition is a toy

  • Audition isn't a "toy" ... what gives you that idea? Audition is a popular application ...

  • i agree it's not a "toy" but it's still not as good as protools, cubase, or nuendo

  • I agree. No one can deny that fact. But some people make Audition out to be a shitty freeware-type software that is capable of almost nothing.

  • Audition is better for chopping samples, but for recording purposes, cubase is WAY better.

  • cubase sx 4, but audacity is free and is really but if you want good qaulity select a high frequency, stereo, and 32 bit float.

  • It doesn't have much to do with the program. Get a decent mic (80-200$), a pop filter (20$) and just play around with the recording location in the house... you can find a LOT of tips online. I always use a ShureSM58, triple the vox line, ad a little bit of chorus to the other two, pan them L and R, and drop them back in the mix lower... it helps bring the vocals out nicely. You gotta play around with it though. Creativity is more important than equipment most times.

  • what is the best program to record vocals?

    please answer

  • Cubase SX 3

    Cubase 4

    ProTools

    Logic 8

Is u dont have money u can download Adobe Audition or a free Audacity.
