I think that they took the MTM criticism quite well.

LP in no way has2 pleasure their fans but if they do its cause they make good music. they never signed a contract w/ fans telling them they will make the same music forever, so stop treating changes like if the band ever had a comitment. yeah i too miss chester's screaming, although i hate mikes rapping, but valentines day, in pieces, etc werent bad.

In The End was pretty damn good, but even better if it didn't have the rapping. I'm sorry, you're probably like WTF, but some people don't like the rap. Even with the rap, LP is a great band in my opinion although I hate the rap.

What's interesting about Linkin Park is that every album is different than it's predecessor. I could never say that Meteora sounds like Hybrid Theory, nor that Minutes after Midnight sounds like Meteora. Therefore, I can say two things... First, new album will be something new. It's still Linkin Park, but at the same time it isn't. And second, It will rule, no matter what. :)

actually, Meteora and Hybrid Theory were very similar in my opinion. I would agree that Minutes to Midnight is drastically different though.
