Excellent performance of a very difficult piece. Personally, I prefer to play Allegro Solemne like a hooligan (listen to Barrios' 1928 recording on Youtube and you'll know what I mean), but I like this more controlled flowing version aswell. Keep it up!
Yeah, I've heard that recording. Supposedly, he did it so fast and crazy because of the limitations in recording equipment of the day, ie., he had to go fast enough for it to fit on the record!

I experienced the same thing. The key is to move your left hand such that the fingertips are as perpendicular to the fretboard as possible, and let your thumb find an unstrained and comfortable position up or down the neck. Trust me, this makes a HUGE differences!!!

also i have a question on 0:52-0:53 my sheet music version is on frets 3 and 4 but ur playing frets 8-10 i think can u tell me the notes ur playing and the fret #? + string?
Hi there. Thanks for commenting. I've played guitar since I was 12, but classical for about 4-5 years. For the question, I'd imagine we have the same notes, but just a different fingering. I start on the D on the 10th fret. Perhaps, you're just in the lower register...

I'm learning this song and my thumb from my left hand hurts like hell after playing the first 2 lines. Any advice on how to prevent that?
