  • very cool mod buddy just wondering how you cool that with cpu overclocked?

  • want..!!

  • @trouper1 I'm currently building an itx comp in a "Saw" ammo box. I didn't have any trouble finding a psu that fit and mines alot smaller?

  • @iMacG3nerd When the case is in waterproof mode, it isn't on (obviously). When it is open, there is a center divider running the entire front that has a fan at the bottom ... Air comes in one side using a push side fan and blows all the way to a vent at the bottom of the divider and then is exhausted out the PCI slot side.

  • Awesome job, man. Do you have a work log of some kind? I'd love to see how you made it.

  • That is very very cool , good job man.

  • Oh now that is really cool, great idea, well done. I bet that took quite a bit of planning and enginuity.

  • for gamming in hostile combat environments!!!

  • awesome

  • Awsome case mod, IF you normally leave your computer in the sink?

  • doesnt it over heat?

  • How can people click "dislike" on this video? 44 likes to 17 dislikes? I don't even understand...why the hate? Awesome case mod!

  • @chronicATM You do realize that asking that question "out loud" gives even more idiots the idea to click on the dislike button, right?

  • Thats cool.

  • @osm3u Thanks dude!

  • Hi i'm curious to know wat type of case you got there in terms of size

  • What's up with the gay like music?

  • Good, creative, but a waste of a ammo can

  • @NunamedDragon ammo cans are plentiful and dirt cheap

  • i like :O

  • you need to put a nice military keyboard in the cover.use the cover as a keyboard.Sweet mod

  • idiota y como vas mantenerlo refrigerado

  • @bathoryjose English ... it's the language of win

  • any disk drive?

  • I bet you could fit a mini-itx with an external (brick) power supply in that.

  • Yeah, my first project was to put a micro ATX box into a 800 CRTG 5.56mm box, but I couldn't find a power supply that fit. So, I stuck an xbox in it (this was back when XBMC only ran on the xbox (original) hardware.

  • @trouper1 very cool mod buddy just wondering how you cool that with cpu overclocked?

  • that would get hawt

  • Nice mod but....WHERE ARE THE FLOPPY DRIVES!??? :O

  • I made one of these years ago, How do you pull the mobo out if you need to work on it? I used sliders like a drawer, but it did not work so well. I

  • The ammo can has aluminum rails on the inside that perfectly fit the motherboard tray that I used, so it slides in and out very smoothly. The rails are JB Welded to the inside of the case, and are quite solid.

  • Well done.

  • That is freakin cool.

  • You didnt happen to make a guide on how you built this did you?

  • awesome i want one xD

  • This would be nice if you lived in an area that was prone to severe flooding.

  • Great mod. Thanks for the vid.

  • how do you install games and stuff that you need an optical drive?

  • u USe a mobile Hard Driver :D with usb connection who needs the OLD fashion OPTICAL sh1t... lol

  • lol nice

  • Great Idea! I need to do this now. BTW what type of Ammo can is that?

  • It's a large 7.62mm ammo can procured on eBay. Note, there are two common 7.62mm ammo cans ... a 200 round can and a 1500 round can. The 1500 round can can hold an ATX board, ATX power supply, full-height pci/-e cards and 3.5" hd's.

Inside dimensions: 17.25" long, 7.4" wide, 14" high

If you buy it, make sure the seal is still good. The rubber tends to not age well. Also, be sure to put a synthetic rubber lube (not KY, heh) so the rubber seal keeps its integrity and the can stays watertight.

  • Another note, this thing is heavy! Really heavy. If it wasn't filled with mostly air, the thing would sink.

  • @AirForce194 1500 round 7.62mm NATO ammunition case A165

  • Cool idea man.

  • how about the cooling system?

  • when you submerged that case I got that weird sensation......well good luck there

  • How do you get to the cdrom?

  • Because I don't typically use CD/DVD's (rather, I rip almost everything I own after I purchase it), thus a CD/DVD drive is not necessary. However, there would have been room for a masked optical drive between the fan and the power button if I wanted to incorporate one.

  • What a shitty and messy looking bedroom.

  • What do you expect when you live in a bunker?

  • Isn't it? But we have some sweet LANdys in that messy bedroom/bunker. And BTW, I've wanted to build a real vented 2-foot concrete bunker since forever. I'd totally live in a bunker in my backyard ... wouldn't that be totally cool?

  • Totally. Hell, if you got paintballing with your neighbors like I do you'd have a hell of a time with a bunker in your backyard.

  • thats a sweet case. i bet its great for LAN parties you dont have to worry about the rain or snow ruining your PC.

  • Another cool feature about this case is that it is completely mounted on rails, so that the hardware can be changed quickly. I'm working on getting a website up about the whole build process (completed in under 24 hours). The case is based on a 100% unmodified Military ammo can, which is why it's submersible without taking on water.
