This gun was not built to shoot humans, assault rifles do that quite effectively.

This weapon was developed to shoot down fast moving missiles. the million round rate of fire is necessary to hit such a fast moving target. The more rounds per minute, the closer they are to each other, increasing the chance of hitting it.

I think that this gun is FAR to powerful for anything your worried about. We have assualt rifles already that do the job of killing people just fine. This behemoth of a weapon though would do quite well on our battle groups out at sea when a SCUD or something of the sort comes flying in.
