  • I wish he'd release this as a b-side.

  • HERE IS MORRISSEY THE MODERN ELVIS PRESLEY PUTTING IN A HEART-RENDING PERFORMANCE..MORRISSEY FEELS THE TRAGEDY OF SONGS LYRICS..AND IT COMES ACROSS AS AUTHENTIC ..JUST AN OUSTANDING VERSION OF THIS ROCK AND ROLL MIND BLOWER...!!!GO MORRISSEY ..GO BUZZCOCKS.. BOTH MORRISSEY AND THE BUZZCOCKS ARE WELCOME TO TOUR THE CALIFORNIA COAST ANYTIME....SEE YA THERE..!!!!

  • I would love Morrissey to cover Cranberries Zombie.

  • The lyrics for this song is so fitting for Morrissey, sounds like he could have wrote this song. I love both the Buzzcocks and Morrissey, I think he has a good taste in songs that he does cover. What's next? A cover of Joy Division? Hummm?

  • I love that he does awesome covers sometimes..it's awesome.

  • The song Morrissey should have wrote....

  • like a buzz

  • haha fuckin awesome i love em both

  • He should have recorded this!

  • Moz takes other people's tunes and makes them his own as only Johnny Cash could do!

  • so pleased to find this - I wish Moz would release a version of this

  • Amazing choice of song to cover!

  • I have watched this at least 50 times.

    Moz covers are the best

  • excellent !

  • Hey...he sings it tight....it suits Morrissey

  • Don't compare Pete Shelley to Moz as a vocalist for fuck's sakes!

  • Comparisons are irrelevant, as both are outstanding.

  • This is a good cover, but The Buzzcocks song is ace, and Pete Shelley's delivery is much better suited to the progression of the song. Shelley sings the beginning with an abashed uncertainty (you say you don't love me, but I'll wait around for you) and then towards the end sings it with more confidence and empowerment (you say you don't love me, and I don't have the time to wait around for you!)

  • I can't believe it! A great, great, amazing cover of one of the greatest english group ever! Keep on rockin' Moz!

  • This song is perfect for Morrissey and he does it perfectly.

  • What a mix mozza doin the buzzcocks ...... quality

  • Listened to this on Radio as couldn't get down. Remember loving this and didn't know it was a Buzzcocks cover.

If the original is even better than this then i'll need to seek it out.

  • I really do prefer this to the original. And its hard because the Buzzcocks are fucking ace. But Mozzers done a great job! I STILL can't get over this! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D x

  • Yea buzzcocks one of the greats but moz has a way better voice and his band is fucking tight as high school pussy.

  • Well, its not too often someone does a cover better than an original, especially the likes of the Buzzcocks. But Moz belts this one out like heaven! Fucking amazing!

  • It's the VOICE

  • Haha, probably was near me. Dear Hero Imprisoned, eh? As if you got banged up. Were you not walking fast enough or in time with the busy London zombies on the streets? Haha. Yeah I really hope he does Manchester soon. I seen him at G-mex in December in 2006 as well. That was a brilliant night. Even though this was a festival and in London, I still prefered this gig more :)

  • Great song

  • We got the bus from Manchester at 6am on Thursday and stayed the over til Saturday morning. London was fucking pricey and busy, but still worth it :D

  • This was such a highlight of the night. I can't get this cover out of my head! It was amazing! x

  • sweet cover , hope he records it and pops it on a b side

  • Thanks for uploading this. I was being 'kicked in the face' at this point.

The subtle lyric changes make this so Moz.
