@redpaul79 Wrong. The rumors DID start in 1969 when american DJ Bob Wooler said he had found clues in albums which determined that Paul had been dead since 1966. As the rumors grew, so did the many different stories and one of them was that he had grown the tash to hide a flaw in the plastic surgery the double had undergone. The actual truth was that he did have a motorbike accident and had a nasty scar to hide till it healed. But the rumor started with Abbey Road and expanded from there.
