I was just wondering why do you use margarita mix when you have already added simple syrup+lemon juice? Does the drink need to be that sweet or is there something else to it? thanks

Is there a way to make these in batches for a large party? I'd like to make up a couple pitchers ahead of time and just shake and serve.
