  • Could you please post part 1 of this episode?

  • $20 dollars was like $500 back then

  • Heavens to Murgatroid! THANKS for posting! Not only did TZ have some excellent scripts, but it featured some of the finest actors around...including many who went on to be big stars, such as Lee Marvin, Robert Duvall & Robert Redford. In fact, some of them (such as Lee Marvin) appeared in more than one episode! Groovy to see noted character actors like Jim Best. Lee Van Cleef & Strother Martin here too! Top notch stuff !!! :-)

  • Twenty dollars?

That was a lot of money to be carrying around back then...

  • This one of the very best from the original Twilight Zone -- a ghost story set in the Old West. I think that Lee Marvin was on M Squad about that same time. Lee Van Cleef, James Best, Srother Martin, and the guy who played Cheif O'Hara (on Batman). Great cast. Great (and creepy) story. It allowed the viewer to come up with their own conclusion. Rod Serling and Buck Houghton were great screenwriters/storytellers. Steven Speilberg gleaned a lot from them.

  • angel eyes!

  • Dang !! She is hot !!

  • Can't find part 1 :(.

  • Lee Van Cleef!!!!!!!!

  • 6:19

    I have another way.

    Chief O'Hara call Batman.

  • This is probably one of the best TZ episodes ever, and certainly the finest cast.

  • "I reckon I'd bet "agin" you Conny." Classic.

  • @PurpleHealer1

    2:46

But dogs & kids they like me. They follow me around all the time.

    WTF!!

  • OMG Lee van Cleef, Lee Marvin and Strother Martin............. Best of Best! :)

  • Ahh Pinto you old bean, I see you're still dead, whoa, noooo, ahhhhh, lol.

  • hehehe!! that's the Sherriff from the Dukes of Hazzard! GeGeGeghe!!!

  • The guitar player is the guitarist from the andy griffith show. he was in the band Bobby Fleet and his band with a beat

  • wow she was fucking hot!!!!

  • 'That whole Sykes family, they never was real bright". Connie Miller was really riled up when Mothershed, Johnny Rob and Steinheart inferred that he was afraid to visit Pinto Sykes' grave. One of the best TZ episodes and a first class cast.

  • @ra15899550 The cast is superb. Best one of all the episodes, would have made a great feature film.

  • ITS THE BAD!

  • "I aint armed, I aint arrrmmed"

  • @Jellogal You got that right. And the excellent writing of Serling and his talented staff. He was so ahead of his time with this show.

  • Lee Marvin and Lee Van Cleef, wow. And also James Best, gotta love that guy.

  • @chairmanofthebored1 yeah, it's a lesson in acting this is

  • Probably the best cast on any of the TZ episodes; Lee Marvin, James Best, Lee Van Cleef et al.

  • Superb cast and one of my favorite episodes ever. Excellent.

  • That girl's dizzier than a knock-down clown in a tornado. ;]

  • James Best - "But dogs and kids...they like me. They follow me around all of the time."

    priceless

  • @septip123 And remember in 1962, just a year after this was on CBS, Lee Marvin played LIberty Valance in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance starring John Wayne and James Steward and directed by the great John Ford. Storther Martin and Lee Van Cleef played Marvin's henchmen in that film.

  • And that guy one guy was the warden from Cool Hand Luke. I keep expecting him to smack Conney and say--> What we have here... is a failure to communicate!

  • why have some part 1 episodes of tz been eliminated when others have been allowed. also some of multiple episodes are gone.

  • @yes350yes : Because items of quality and high demand are not free. It's part of the natural world we live in. ;]

  • Jeepers was that James Best as Sheriff Coltrain from Dukes? All the times I was watchin him in Dukes I knew I knew him but couldnt place him. Well I'll be a son of a gun. ha ha.

  • Dont forget James Best, great actor.

  • also Sheriff Roscoe P Coltrain from The Dukes of Hazzard!

  • The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly meets the Dirty Dozen

  • strother martin hadn't met Josie Wales yet! do do do da dooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

  • all-star cast; Lee Van Cleef, Lee Marvin and Strother Martin....jeez you had a good western, period. Guess guys took work when they could

  • no part 3?

  • Search veoh (dot com). There's a bunch of TZ episodes up.

  • is she high or somethin?

  • my favorite John Ford movie!! together with Once Upon a Time in the West my favorite western!!

closely followed by Rio Bravo and The Good the Bad and the Ugly.

  • Lee Marvin, Lee Van Cleef...

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (John Ford 1964)

  • Great John Ford movie!!!

  • Love the pot belly wood stove. Reminds me of the one in the church at my grandpas down in the country. You know so far back in the hills they have what they call church sunday. the farmers couldnt just go to church every sunday, ya know.

  • couldn't find part 3

  • this is my favorite twilight zone episode. When I first saw this in 8th grade, it made my hair stand on end.

  • Let's not forget that little scene stealer, Strother Martin.

  • Lee Marvin

Lee Van Cleef (The Good The Bad and The Ugly)

  • this same plot has been redone soooo many times

  • She looks like Evangeline Lily (Kate from 'Lost').

  • PINTOE LOLOL

  • Thanx for a great scary episode!

  • Even back then a bounty hunter would take his hat off in the presense of a lady, respect back then, but now there seems to be a lack of respect, especially from young kids teeager, etc.

  • That's because there aren't very many REAL men left... unfortunately, they're mostly adolecents in men's bodies.

  • Oh, please. Read a little and you'll come to notice society has had 'punks' and 'uppity, disrespectful' young people for as long as society has existed.

And be careful, areas known for their politeness and courtesy are also often later known for their brutality.

  • @yes350yes welcome to the future fool!

  • @yes350yes welcome to the 21st century fool!

  • @yes350yes "...in the presense [sic] of a lady..."

Not good enough. Should be in the presence of a WOMAN, whether lady, virgin, whore, whatevah.

  • One thing about it you wont ever forget her voice. I think she is sexy as hell and with those high cheekbones, well you know what that means.

  • High cheekbones? Is that that female equivalent of big feet?

  • It means you have a big pussy actually, yeah.

  • I'm too scared to see part 3.

  • Hey no problem yitzchak13. I'll watch it for you.

  • In the Graveyard, That Gun aint going to be worth Shit! The Bottle is worth more than the gun!

  • that chick is really creepy

  • she is cool tho:)

  • Creepy and cute. Wow, that is an intriguing combination. She probably has vampire teeth. I would let her bite me to find out.

  • She's a pretty girl. It's a shame that the scene of her in the saloon was completely cut out of the syndication copies.
