If you add soy sauce or other salty products to dead tentacles, the muscles will start contracting like you see in the video.
Which also explains why it stopped after a while: the effect of the salt stopped.

La bronca de SatiricaMorte creo que viene por el lado de "jugar" con el animal vivo para después triturarlo con nuestras muelas o desgarrarle pedazos de cuerpo. Si fuera ese pulpo y supiera lo que me iría a pasar, preferiría que me maten antes que meterme en un bellísimo plato con verduritas, salsas y que 3 personas jueguen conmigo y se rían antes de comerme.

@Andrew32488 The only difference between this and most other mollusk dishes is the lack of cooking, obviously, and how recently the animal has been killed. So I wouldn't necessarily call this more or less cruel than the other dishes.
