@om3ga109 Subjective. I could say that Nino looks older than Florina, even though it wouldn't be by much. (In other words, if you ask me, Nino looks her age. Meanwhile no official age is given for Florina, but the girl looks like she just reached her teens at the most.)

And not to mention the Nino/Jaffar pairing comes very much less out of left field than the Hector/Florina pairing does.

@om3ga109 They are never shown being anything more than casual acquaintances outside of any part of the story though. Save for the epilogue, but that has copy & paste dialogue with the tactician present anyways, so it doesn't count. Farina's in the same situation, admittedly. But I would definitely take Farina if given the choice between just her and Florina. But since the choice in the game is limited to not only those two but Lyn as well, I don't have to do that.

And I'm not a fan of Lyn/Rath either. I can't see it working mainly due to Rath's personality, and they don't interact much outside of supports. I can see the two being good friends, but not anything beyond that.

@LittleAl016 Oh boy. Ok... Florina can only be with Hector. Like, literally. Only with Hector. Eliwood and Ninian are so fated to be together its boring but still a cute couple, and two of Lyn's three love interests are with the lords, who are taken. So that leaves rath. Besides, if you've ever played FE6, Sue looks just like Lyn, you cant deny. But come on, can't we wrap this debate up?

I can't really see how this paring works romantically speaking, but I can see is these two potentially working well together in combat, with Hector being the M26 Pershing to Florina's P-47 Thunderbolt if that makes any sense...

I never got the idea of how the two can have a romantic relationship myself.I mean, Hector's brash, bold, hot-blooded, brutally honest, reaaly forward, has a nice sense of humor, and no mercy for his enemies. Florina is shy, timid, kinda weak (personality-wise), and a potentially homosexual shrinking violet. It doesn't work.

@SirBroadsword But at any rate, I think the Hector X Florina pair is rather overrated anyways. In both relationship-wise (I want the characters in a pair to be able to synergize well.) and in some cases, gameplay-wise (Roughly 40 turns per support level between a flyer and a grounded (and armored) axefighter? No thank you!)

Don't all the supports require a ridiculous number of turns to get to the third level? This would, I can only imagine, usually mean sitting the two relevant characters next to each other and spamming that "end turn" button, destroying your tactican's "tactics" rating.

@SirBroadsword Yep. That's usually one of the main reasons why two relevant characters that have constant range (or close to it), and need only like 30 turns per support level is more recommended than 40 turns per support between characters that cannot keep up with each other. There are some exceptions though usually involving constant range despite 40 turns per support (especially if you're going for something like a B support), or fast supports between grounded and mounted units.
