  • There is a "Black National Anthem" all over the boards at You Tube. Should we have a new "White National Anthem" or should we claim the existing one as "ours" as blacks claim Ancient Egypt, science, medicine, astrology, technology etc as THEIRS.Afrocentrics rewrite history and the press and media is too pussy to correct them from fear of some asshole like Sharpton or Farrakhan boycotting them. Al Sharpton was caught not pay Income Tax for 6 years and nothing happened. How does he support himself

  • Right reaction, wrong person to sing it honor of.

  • i was on that street two days ago, it was a beautiful sunny day, great memories

  • Is this any surprise? Universities are commmunist recruitment centers, teaching anti-white self-hatred and the worship of anything that is not White, European, Christian, or Western. Lies and bullshit are taught, even in ivy league schools, which are now overrun with low scoring affirmative action and race quota students. The professors are leftist radicals who take advantage of the stupidity of youth to steer gullible, easily misled students to vote against their own interests- "Vote Democrat!"

  • Pack your bags Mr. Bush, you've been evicted.

Don't let the doorknob hit ya where Evolution split ya.

  • comment me back

seen it yesterday! lets chat 8Z

  • Wash the sand out of your vagina.

America's servicemen did all the work and Bush tried to take all the credit.

  • Anyone who condemns these young people for their joy and singing the National Anthem is a (brittled-boned) fool, and should be closely monitored as a "threat" to national security. Truth always brings out the stupidity and arrogance in self-styled patriots who think they are the only Americans. If he or she had any sense , this fool would feel proud that young people love their country.

  • Drunk off the wine of victory.

  • So do I!!!! YES WE CAN! Obama/Biden

  • Socialism if you do your research is rooted in the far right conservative wing.

  • The majority of Obama supporters don't know anything about the policies and different ideologies in this campaign. All they can say is the word "change" or "hope," it's pathetic. They asked 200 Obama supporters what the Bill of Rights were and 90% didn't know. Watch the Howard Stern Harlem interview with Obama supporters, its hilarious.

  • Where do you get this statistic? I can't find it anywhere so am looking to you for the facts...I watched FOX, CNN, MSNBC, talked to many many many Obama supporters and found that they liked his position on universal health care, diplomacy, getting us off Oil in 10 years, retooling plants so we can actually produce something again and to repeal Bush's tax cuts to rich. Just let me know where I can find the FACTS that support your statement because I didn't see this while campaigning for Obama.

  • When you get your butt taxed,,oh yes it will be for all those that pay taxes,,,you will cry the blues. You will also feel that deadbeat handouts are simply WRONG

  • HammockTimeNow Don't get sick, disabled or unemployed, ok?

  • If I "contribute" to unemployment insurance or my healthcare, then I am entitled to receive it.Those that do NOT contribute, should not get anything, much less part of my tax money.

  • I LOVED the 'Harem' interviews when the Obamabots were 'happy that Palin was his VP choice!!! OMG

  • THIS IS AMERICA AT ITS GREATEST!!! Words cannot describe the love and victory and happiness in our hearts!

  • Illiterate GOONS at their best...these guys don't WORK or pay TAXES

  • Yeah - 63 MILLION Illiterate GOONS. But the Republicans who LOVE Palin after one speech and less than 3 months are SO MUCH MORE informed. Your man McCain lost the election when he decided it was best to pander to Dobson, Focus on Family, and other religious folks to get their vote and picked Palin as VP. Powell said it best and the GOP has only itself to thank for this monumental repudiation of everything its stood for over the last 8 years. You sir are a part of the problem not the solution,

  • GURL,,,, I am in FL (2nd home on the ocean) and see what goes on down here....Your monkeys will follow the wicked witch of Calif (Pelousey) and everyone will have a tough time. For us, it just means we have to keep the 338 for another year....and for you....?

  • I have Lucille (shotgun) and of course a big dog but not sure what your point is. Pelosi is not the 'wicked witch' although if you listen to Fox or Rush or Anne Coulter enough you would think it. She is a proud American who has her views and has been elected by her constiuants many times. This is still America isn't it? Where WE vote for whom WE want? I survived 8 years under a less than average man and now am glad to have a BRILLIANT one leading us again (like Clinton). I am a proud Liberal.

  • Here in Hammock, we don't need shotguns. You obviously didn't live through the Carter or Clinton years when everyone was HIGH-UNemployment, inflation, interest rates...We will get the same here, only it will be doled out to deadbeats here and abroad.

  • HammockTimeNow There was just a bailout of banks under Bush.

  • HammockTimeNow Please don't tell people you're from Florida, it's embarrassing

  • HammockTimeNow You're from Florida, hahaha, you mean, the place Governor Crist just slashed property taxes and now public services and public schools are getting slashed as an aftershock?

  • HammockTimeNow Yeah, Governor Crist liked Jeb Bush too, PNAC signatory that he is.

  • I am so glad that my prop taxes have been cut there. School admins make too much anyway. I don't pay any muni taxes there, only County!! Oh Yah!!!

I have to make up some ground since the house here in NJ is costing a bunch thanks to Jon Cor-slime taxing the crap out of us.

  • HammockTimeNow Oh, so Florida is only your vacation home, so you don't give a crap about the services and schools that are cut for Floridians . Are you illegally claiming Homestead Exemption in Florida? Go back to New Jersey if you don't want to pull your weight in Florida.

  • Good grief..if you are the product of the public schools in FL, I say hand out vouchers and let the parents choose...

  • HammockTimeNow Product of Catholic schools in Florida, and my parents still paid property taxes. Everyone knows the voucher scheme would deplete the public school funds even more than Governor Crist has , with his ransacking scam to appease rich . C'mon , you have TWO homes, you use our beaches , parks and porta-potties, and you still feel no obligation to pull your own weight in MY state? pfft You never answered, are you illegally claiming Homestead Exemption in Florida?

  • Nope...nothing illegal here. Will claim when I am there f/t. BTW-I am certain that I pay way more in prop taxes than you do...and I do not drain any of the resources there.

  • HammockTimeNow Will claim when you are in FL f/t...bet you attempted when you were p/t? lol, I know your type , used to work for Homestead Exemption. Let's see, you never drive on Florida's roads, never go to Florida's parks and beaches, and have no access to Florida's police and fire departments, and apparently you don't give a damn about Florida's kids. Sounds like a good reason for you to pack up and move out of Florida!

  • Bet I didn't...you have to be a voter in FL with a FL driver's license....but you already know that, correct? I guess that you don't even have a home to "stead" , right? Typical.

  • HammockTimeNow So how'd you find out? Because you attempted to file Homestead Exemption while you are p/t, tried to "play dumb" to see if you could get away with it, right? On the contrary, mine is paid off, all I pay is insurance and property tax.

Are you in the mortgage blackhole for TWO homes , living beyond your means, AND not willing to pull your own weight? Typical.

  • Not really..I turned someone in for fraud in FL...what makes you think I have mortgages? Hmmmm? BTW-I went to private schools, sent my kids there and paid tons of taxes and still do...keep the insults and insinuations...they are actually kind of fun...Glad that your trailer is paid for.

  • HammockTimeNow insults and insinuations? So you can dish it out but can't take it. Is this how you raised your kids too, money is "love", only the little people pay taxes?

  • Thanks for asking about my kids...they are doing really well..

  • HammockTimeNow So is mine, he has autism spectrum disorder and attends community college. I'm very proud of him.

    Not that you asked.

  • Not that I care..YOU brought my children into this "discussion".I guess when your logic fails you need to throw in children...What's next-my dead brother and sister?

  • HammockTimeNow Sweetheart, you brought your attitude with you, I'm just going with the flow.

  • HammockTimeNow Don't worry deary, my home is solid, survived three major hurricanes, and a minor tornado.

  • Must have solid tie-downs on that trailer...good for you.."deary". Now, lighten up, open some Colt 45 and relax...

  • HammockTimeNow I was just going to recommend that your butler get you get a martini, so you could unwind.

  • Way too early in the day for ME to drink...but I see that it's normal for you...

  • HammockTimeNow Shouldn't you edit your profile, "God-fearing" people don't drink, or look down their nose on God's children.

  • Well, you can't claim that trait now, can you? Tsk..tsk

  • HammockTimeNow Last time I checked, people who do claim that trait and behave like you are called "hypocrites".

  • Would love to know a few things-what do you "contribute" to society; what sacrifices do you make for others??? Hmmm. The "do as I say not as I do" argument doesn't work here...

  • HammockTimeNow I guess working fulltime and being guardian of an adult disabled son doesn't count in your "book" (whatever that is, probably something Trump wrote). What do you contribute to the world?...not taxes or kindness, you've already made that perfectly clear.

  • Yankhadenough Speaking of which, I have to get ready to take him to church. Quality time now! :-)

  • And so, what exactly do YOU do for society that leads you to believe you have the right to question other citizens contributions? Unless you spend every day in a soup kitchen or reading to cancer patients, you are a hypocrite of colossal proportions with a self-righteous sidearm. Please, elaborate for us.

Because as it stands right now, you're coming off as an immature brat trying to assert yourself over the internet by casting down judgement on random people. Not very Christian-like.

  • HammockTimeNow I know, why don't buy a vacation home in Alaska instead? You could go hunting and fishing with Palin, AND keep an eye on Russia for us. Just remember, I'm pretty sure you can't get those oil dividends unless you are a fulltime Alaskan resident/voter, so don't try to scam Sarah!

  • Actually I am very aware how government works smoky. It is a very sad thing when people don't understand the whole picture. I am excited to see how this will all pan out...you will all be waiting a very long time for the promises of your candidate.

  • Bush is a DEMOCRAT???? OMG! I've been duped! And all along I thought Obama was against the war and deregulation and destruction of our environment.

  • lol your not very smart are you Kokomomma42 was talking about the democrats in congress when it come down to it there the ones with the power and they hav been leading us down the shiter and now that they control the white house to were going to go down alot faster

  • jenwit8881...DEMOCRATS HAVE BEEN IN CONTROL FOR TWO YEARS....THAT is how we got into this mess my friend...

  • Um no.We had the majority but we did'nt have a solid majority in the House or Senate You need 261 seats of the house to have a solid majority. And you need 60 in the senate to be fillibuster proof. The senate was 51(d)47(r)and 2(i).And the house was 233(d)202(r).Even when bills where passed by the Legislavtive Bush vetoed them unless they went his way.Learn how our government actually works please.

  • Guess you need to understand 4th grade civics

  • hmmm why is trust in god on our money...why can we only have one husband or wife..why can we not marry or fornicate with a cow...hmmm

natural law or god's law..or what..where did all these great moral things come from...?????the pilgrims????Oh and life begins at conception..science has proven it and our constitution should protect that life...!!!!

  • also, never forget it was the bush administration that kept you safe for 71/2 years...and that National anthem speaks of freedom..now that our govt owns everything..is that freedom...black or white...we are losing our freedoms...slippery slope.

  • Really? This is your argument. Really? Could your please explain to me how the government ended up owning everything? I do believe the Bush administration might have had something to do with that. Oh and we've been losing our freedoms since the Patriot Act - it wasn't Barack Obama spying on our emails and phone calls without a warrant for the last 8 years.

  • But we are one nation UNDER GOD

  • Oh dear. You do know that the Pledge of Allegiance was written by a Christian SOCIALIST in 1892 and DID NOT orignally include the "under god" part, right? And that "under god" wasn't added until the Knights of Columbus started calling for it in 1951? And that it wasn't signed into law until Eisenhower in 1954? The Founding Fathers in no way intended the United States to be "under god". Our country was founded on the freedom of(in personal worship) and freedom from(in governance)religion.

  • Bush really fucked up America. Even white people are cheering for a black man to take his placement.

  • America sucks whether the president is black or white. Prez is nothing but a puppet of the bigger corporations who are out to do 1 thing. Make profit.

  • LOL! get out george bush

  • So, other non christians have no morals? Please. religion has nothing to do with moral, more like organized morals to control the mass. Let religion to be kept to oneself and not as a force of coercion. Thats where all the stupid war started because, each major religions try to compete for superiority. You are not christian, so you must be a sinner type of mentality. How offensive.

  • Apparerntly you did not read my comment, I said NOTHING about non christians having no morals.

  • you are implying that christians have more, better moral values. If that does not imply, non christians as below than you, i dont know what it is. Ranking moral values based on religion is stupid and hubris.

  • I did not say for preachers to tell their congreations WHO to vote for, but to educate them on what God's WORD SAYS about choosing a leader. Christians should vote for moral issues and not economic issues.

  • That song is about war, glorifying war.

  • Making abortions illegal will do to abortions what the war on drugs has done to drugs: make them less safe, make criminals profit from it, and do nothing to get rid of them.

  • fuck you and everything you stand for.

  • anyway, congrats to us all! it was a great night for the country and a great night in D.C.!

  • it's that kind of talk that got the Republican party in trouble in the first place. now they have to start from scratch to figure out how to save the party from the radical right that has nearly destroyed it.

  • I'm a christian, not a republican, had Obama, stood for christian values, and McCain for abortion, I would have voted Democrat. We as Christians have a moral obligation to God when we vote. If you're not a Christian, then I am not referring to you.

  • no one is for abortion, its been the law in this country for a number of years. are you still hoping for prohibiton to come back?

  • separation of church and state dickhead. Let me know when someone proves God exists and maybe you'll have a point. As far as I'm concerned you should think the president is god because he has more power than anybody else in this world.

  • I do not believe the president is God, if you do not believe the president has the power to select the supreme justices that are coming vacant (which DO regulate the laws of our land, including abortion) why do you vote??

  • I do know that the president can choose the supreme court justices. I vote because I want to be able to have a voice in which president gets to make those choices. The debate on abortion will always exist...i just happen to believe that the only person to make that CHOICE is the woman herself. I understand the opposing view and happen to disagree with it.

  • You want churches to lose their tax-exempt status by violating election law and endorsing candidates? Well, I'd be fine removing their tax-exempt status anyway, so by my guess.

The overwhelmingly Christian U.S.A. overwhelmingly elected Barack Obama. You're out of touch.

  • My point exactly, the preachers that are to teach God's Word failed to do so.

  • Funny, I read your words and they all sound like "blah blah my guy lost blah blah sour grapes"

Shut up and sit down. This is not a christian nation, it's a secular nation, as defined by our Constitution. Keep your religion off my body.

  • You are wrong; this is a secular nation.

The very first freedom granted by the First Amendment to the Constitution states that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion" which means that THERE IS NO STATE RELIGION IN THIS COUNTRY. We are not Christian, Buddhist, Pagan, or any other religion. We are SECULAR.

Thomas Jefferson himself said that the 1st amendment was "building a wall of separation between Church & State". Put the bible down and read the Constitution.

  • No, this is not a christian nation. for you to believe only christians can run the country is a bigoted view. Founding fathers were so brilliant because they knew there will be ignorant lunatics like to control the country using an organized religion. Therefore, for you to mock the new president is an unpatriotic, let alone, mocking the first amendment. How tragic.

  • I'm a Christian, strong in my beliefs, but this is not a Christian nation -- not by a long shot. Sure, there are a majority of Christian believers in this country, but the U.S. does not prescribe to one religion, and never will; the country's for everyone, of every background, of every faith. Heck, a theocracy isn't even possible on earth with any human being at the helm, if that's what you're hoping for; I would say a man-made theocracy is even unbiblical. "Give unto Caesar," and all that. =)

  • I disagree. The religious leaders with influence are Christians. Their organizations make sure their opinions have influence, and faith's a BIG aspect of campaigning. "Muslim" was used against Barack Obama and people lobby against gay marriage on the basis of their religious ideals. That has no place in government. Dems are criticized for being "godless." Find me a senator who's Buddhist or Muslim and then we'll talk.

  • Yes, because a big chunk of the country at least identifies itself as Christian & because of the evangelical base & its influence, it's unfairly difficult for those who are of other faiths to get into higher offices (particularly Muslims, IMO, because many wrongly equate Islam with terrorism). That doesn't mean we have a state-organized religion & that democracy isn't in play; it just means a vast majority votes one way. Unfair, yes, but theocratic? No.

    (Cont. . . .)

  • I think a candidate's faith, beliefs, personal philosophy, etc., are fair game (helps others to get a better sense of their morals, maybe how they think, etc.), but I agree with you that certain political parties (*cough* GOP *cough*) have dragged faith into the messy arena of politics, simply because they know that the evangelical base is a strong force for gaining votes.

    (Cont. . . .)

  • And I don't believe they should have adopted this "party of religion" aspect they manipulate and cling to, or that a candidate's religious beliefs (or lack there-of) should have as much prominence and weight as it currently does.

Anyway, sorry that this got so long!

(Btw, Congressman Keith Ellison is Muslim & was even sworn in on the Koran. So there's hope yet.)

  • I think there's a big difference between being a "Christian nation" and being a theocracy. Religion is far too involved with politics right now than I would like, and I don't like the idea of God being in our politics. Trying to ban gay marriage on the idea that the Bible rules that marriage is strictly heterosexual? That shouldn't happen if only because, first of all, not every American prescribes to those beliefs. And theocracy apparently has fluid definitions.

  • (con't)

Some define it as "government controlled by religious leaders" or as a "government based on religious beliefs." And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't GWB once give an interview where he claimed to be speaking for God? (This could just be a gross misrepresentation.) But still, you have people like Sarah Palin who claim that God would do the right thing on Election Day (which she presumably thought was elect McCain & her). Theocracy? No. But we could have been heading for one.

  • AWESOME NIGT

  • WooT!!

    Congratulations to the USA!

  • This is fantastic! Have people every gathered in front of the White House before?

I hope you kept George Bush up all night. He looked pretty sour this morning when he made his little speech about the transition.

    Congrats to all Americans!

  • I hope George choked on a pretzel when he heard this.

  • lol.

  • Time will tell if this was the correct choice or not.

  • cant imagine it could get any worse...

  • I co sign to that....Cant get any worse than the hell weve been in for 8years

  • To my U.S. friends: please remember to start your anthem in a low key! Otherwise, it gets too high to sing near the end! (Or maybe some of these singers are just too high to sing...?)

Anyway, congrats on getting your democracy back!

  • That is good advice! LOL The Star Spangled Banner is a difficult song to sing anyway, but when you start too high...WHOOO!

  • This is so beautiful... Don't let happen again what has happened during the last 8 years...

  • I'm teary eyed. This is FANTASTIC!!!! A new day has finally dawned.

  • This is EPIC! Makes me proud to be an American again after 8 years of shame.

  • can get enough of it!! more more and much more please

  • LOVE IT!
