  • At 1:50, there is supposed to be a giant fan for Knuckles to do the Triangle Dive. Is this version on a different system or is it a beta version? I don't really know, but I had this on a GameCube and I'm positive there was a giant fan there.

  • @n2legos On the Super Hard difficulty?

  • @Overhazard No, I don't think so. It's been so long. I don't think I did this on Super Hard, but I remember one of those giant fans being there.

  • @n2legos All right. This video is on the Super Hard difficulty. Oftentimes, they remove helpful things like gimmicks and platforms.

  • @Overhazard Oh, just checking.

  • *goes to bath room* errrr shit is raw errrraww

  • Do you know what Knuckles says when he attacks? Because it sounds like swearing to me ( I know it's not supposed to be swearing, obviously, but it sounds like it. )

  • @ThunderChaos1 They're just grunts. They're "Sheh!" and "Rah!"

  • it sounds like knuckles is saying ' shit rocks! shit rocks!'

  • TOO MUCH DEATHES

  • Do you know what Tails says when they get the team blast?

  • @aldotamer150 He says, "All set!"

  • in the version of PS2 is the normal mode...

  • @SuperMegadark From what I've seen, the PS2 version uses the same stage layout as the Gamecube version and has a Super Hard Mode identical to this.

  • @Overhazard yes but a

    bit of changes

  • For A Reason Tails Talks Like he's A 6 Year Older.....But he's really 9... ._.

  • That's the problem with Super Hard mode.

You essentially have to fight the game's physics engine. >_>

  • @Sparkz1607 Or learn how it works and circumvent it. There are more glitches than you see in these videos; I just maneuvered my way around them.

  • sh*t whoa sh*t

  • would you mind telling me how you record this? that would be so awesome - thanks :)

  • With a video capture device. Think of it as a VCR, except for the computer.

  • In the final you have tramp(En el final hiciste trampas)8:16

  • WTF !!!!!!!! lolololol

  • Hmm... Missing fans and pieces land; climbing on blocks and smashing robots to abvance; and more enemy types? Looks like this one has gotten a pretty good overhaul. Very nice run, at least it's all about surviving and completence in a level instead of going by ranks.

P.S. About your question, that's just how platforming games are, some follow it seriously and some do not as much. Uh...there's something else I also want to add but I forgot what it was, so I'll leave it at that and continue on.

  • Sonic Unleashed actually managed to avoid the bottomless pit gimmick for most of its stages. That is, you could see land all around you; they're all set at sea level.

  • Very true there... I wonder what game are they are going to come out next.

  • The next Sonic game is Sonic and the Black Knight. They come out with them fast...a little too fast, if you ask me.

  • Interesting and just as they finished releasing Sonic Unleashed too... I gotta check it out...when I have time of course...

  • I hate this level. Especially on that damn giant rock chase.

  • i used to love this game! this was my favorite stage too!

  • I wanna hit the voice actor of Tails in the mouth, Tails sound so annoying when he talks.

  • But that would be child abuse...This Tails was played by a kid.

  • Ouch, I did not know that.... But I still hate how Tails would talk.

  • SEGA's been trying to find a way to make Tails less annoying for its gamers. It's trying anything. I never found Tails too irritating though; his Tails talks like any other little kid would talk.

It seems people like the voice of Tails as done by Amy Palant, however, as she's been voicing Tails since Shadow the Hedgehog.

  • I like her voice better.

  • Yeah, isn't jumping across platforms hanging above bottomless chasms Mario's job?

  • Well, Sonic had to do it in his early days too...though they weren't common until the late game.

  • What ever happened to the water themed levels in sonic games where you actually go in the water and not die in it as it where a bottomless pit.

  • They're still there. They're just mostly in the 2-D games. Sonic Rush Adventure, which just came out last October, has water in Coral Cave and Pirates Island.

  • so what does leveling up do i dont have the game

  • They give the character who levels up better attacks and abilities. For instance, Tails can stun enemies with the Thunder Shoot (where he flings other characters at the robots), but beginning at Level 2, he can destroy them.

  • lol shit rock shit it sounds like

  • SHIT ROCKETSHIP!

  • Well I must say I play much sonic heroes lately and did this map lots a times so I know it insideout...I can clear the stage verry fast. Though I know this is hard mode I still prefer to use Tails (fly formation) when he is lvl 2/3 against none shielded units (kills em with 1 shot) and knuckles 3rd attack (preferable lvl 2)(quickly kills shield and robot).

Even when this is verry hard it doesnt look hard to me (especialy this level) eccept the power plant at the end... thats a tricky one...

  • What do you think Knuckles is saying? Sh*t?

  • Is it me, or is Knuckles used a lot in this stage?

  • Yep >_>

This, Mystic Mansion, and Final Fortress use Knuckles A lot...

Grand Metropolis, Rail Canyon, Frog Forest, and Hang Castle are Speed Based IMO.

All the rest are flight or equal...

On another note, I love this level for super hard mode. The turtles are so much fun :)

I'll hopefully get a video of this uploaded soon...

  • From what I've played, I saw Frog Forest as a Flight-oriented place. (The same goes for Power Plant and possibly Bullet Station.)

Of course, Ocean Palace is probably purposely designed to be Power-oriented to get the player accusotmed to it, just as Grand Metropolis is for Speed and Power Plant for Flight.

  • Ahh... Never thought about that...

Frog forest was never really anything, but it is more speed IMO...

  • I see a lot of segments where you must use the Flying character to get across those big round platforms, which is why I saw it as a Flight stage. Also, much of the stage is pretty precarious; you're safest with the Flying characters thn anyone else in Frog Forest. Speed characters never really do much except on the handful of loop segments.

  • ya that wut i ment "happier than normal"

  • but than that means D:

  • i liked the game but to me it was too happy and they say the obviouse things but still a good game

  • Sonic games are always pretty happy. Or do you mean happier than normal?

  • Like.... taking dope happy :P

  • Sonic Heroes wasn't the best of Sonic games.... but it has it's place I guess.

  • super hard mode is easy on rail canyon for me

  • Really? I found Rail Canyon to be the hardest of the Super Hard stages.

  • nahh its eassy :P Rail canyon you just dont need to fall off thats what makes it hard xDThe hardest was either The masion because I couldnt find that key >:[ To open the door...

so that took me a month to find a MONTH But then there's the last level... GRRR eggman trying to kill him like with 100000 beats -_-!

  • This is Super Hard Mode. You get it after getting the A-Rank on every mission. It IS a lot harder than the regular game, and you don't fight the bosses in this one.

  • Not really u have it on Game cube :P

  • What does having it on the Gamecube have to do with anything? The Super Hard Mode is available on every verison of Sonic Heroes.

  • Uhh no its not..... Mine is so diffrent anyway it Never even says SUPER HARD MODE thats why I said game cube.. Wii is diffrent DS is diffrent why not game cube Xbox is almost diffrent! So I have an XBOX AND THERE NOT EVEN THAT! Its like on the third is Like a boss stage and you have to beat eggman THATS WHAT I MENT >=[

  • You're playing this on the regular difficulty, that's why. You have to get the A-Rank on every mission (that means the optional missions too, as every Team on every stage) to unlock Super Hard Mode. It exists on the Xbox version too, as far as I can recall.

  • Thats what I was trying to mean " On my version its a piece of cake"!

  • But what you're playing isn't a "version." It's a "mode." In order to play through the Super Hard Mode you have to play through on the regular mode, which is what you're doing, and you have to do it really good too.

  • Ohhhh! SO I have to get A's on everything?!

  • Yes. That's how you unlock the Super Hard Mode.

  • My jaw dropped to the floor when i saw that umm... so that takes practice huh xD!

  • Well, you can see that it's the Super Hard Mode, since I wrote that on all of the titles.

  • Well I thought you ment the REGULAR mode

  • Haha! Nice! I have this game for gamecube, unless you're playing it on your wii. I have to say my favorite team is team Dark or team Rose.

  • Huge Sonic fan here too.

  • Huh. Cool.

  • Three comments:

    - You're very good

    - Shut up tails (and why does it always sound like Knuckles is swearing)

    - I remember the Team Dark mode on this, each level lasted an age.

  • yea it does when he attacks it sound like shit rock or soemthing

  • It sounds like that to me too. You'll be hearing a lot more of that later on, since the Super Hard Mode has a lot of armored enemies.

  • how did you get such a good focus on it over

  • ^^ got to love that victory theme
