The xenos processor has 3 identical PPE cores where as the cell processor has only 1 PPE core and 7 SPE cores. Don't use terms you don't know. Processor and CPU (Central Processing Unit) are redundant. The correct term is core here. The only difference between the two processors is that it takes a massive amount of time to program for SPE cores compared to PPE cores. This is science not opinion.

In inclusion of blu-ray has shown to be a very good choice by Sony, for a few reasons. Blu-ray at this point is able to store 50 GBs of data on a single disc. This has become useful with games like Metal Gear Sold 4, Which fills up the disc. If you take the 50 gigs that MGS4 is, and try to apply it to DVD standards of 8.5 gigs, on DVD MGS4 would have been 6 discs, adding to the cost of production. Games that don't fill the disc, are uncompressed and have a sharper image as a result.

Just because the the data is uncompressed does not mean the image will be sharper. i personally own both the 360 and the ps3 and i own cod on both consoles and id have to say that the EXPERIENCE on the 360 because of the support for online gaming.
Graphics wise
i have a 1080p sony tv with a 3ms response time and i personally cannot tell the difference between either consoles both look the same.
adding bluray to the ps3 was a brilliant move for sony in general i do believe it was the winning factor in bluray winning the format war. it made the unit very pricey to start but look how well its doing now and also it having a bigger capacity than dual layer dvds opens many more doors for the ps3. i mean once something is full you cant keep adding to it can you? i still love xbox but i dunno i think theres much more potential for the ps3
and the internet content on the ps3 is just shit. for me working with computers every day when I decide I want a gaming console,and not a media center with loads of capabilities but no practicalities. oh and by the bluray movies aren't any different than other 1080p movies..except the light used to burn and read them is blue and smaller so they can fit more information on a dvd. thats their huge advantage

This has become useful with games like Metal Gear Sold 4, Which fills up the disc. If you take the 50 gigs that MGS4 is, and try to apply it to DVD standards of 8.5 gigs, on DVD MGS4 would have been 6 discs, adding to the cost of production. Games that don't fill the disc, are uncompressed and have a sharper image as a result.

Just because the the data is uncompressed does not mean the image will be sharper. The 360 still puts out better graphics with a gpu that processes twice the amount of vertices per second and every other category of a graphical processor. games aren't like movies get your facts straight.

@thatguyontheright1 graphics chips provide speed increases of visual elements much greater than a cpu. this is why the 360 has a 3 core power pc instead of an 8 core. you can act cool because youre dashboard is a little faster woohoo. 360 doesnt need it. Its simple math that also keeps the production cost down therefore the overall cost is lowered for the unit. if you knew what you were talking about you'd know that pcs actually output the best graphics and sharpest images

Plus online play for PS3 is free! The graphics on the ps3 are sharper and the processor in the PS3 is faster. Facts are facts. And the fact is, is that PS3 has won the overall battle this decade. Who knows what Xbox will do in the future? Maybe they come out with XBOX 3D and they defeat Playstation 4? We'll see...

I actually can't believe i watched this whole clip. To everyone watching this, the guy who made this video has no clue what so ever. Haha saying there is no reason for the bluray-player in the ps3, omg you have to be semi-retarded or something. but fine. I own an Xbox 360 because it was the cheapest solution. Have also owned a Wii. You just have to ask yourself, what you perfer, but know that each of the competing consoles have their advantages.

@HintForGood As of June 2010, there are over 41.7 million Xbox 360 consoles and 38.1 million PS3's. If PS3 could have some better graphics maybe I would get one but everytime I play on one the game clips when in motion. People get RROD because they're ignorant and dont know operating temperatures of computers. If Sony wanted to push their graphics like microsoft did there console would overheat as well. Sony are just a bunch of reverse engineering queers copying the Wii to match Kinect.

i personally own both the 360 and the ps3 and i own cod on both consoles and id have to say that the EXPERIENCE on the 360 because of the support for online gaming.
Graphics wise
i have a 1080p sony tv with a 3ms response time and i personally cannot tell the difference between either consoles both look the same.

adding bluray to the ps3 was a brilliant move for sony in general i do believe it was the winning factor in bluray winning the format war. it made the unit very pricey to start but look how well its doing now and also it having a bigger capacity than dual layer dvds opens many more doors for the ps3. i mean once something is full you cant keep adding to it can you? i still love xbox but i dunno i think theres much more potential for the ps3

and the internet content on the ps3 is just shit. for me working with computers every day when I decide I want a gaming console,and not a media center with loads of capabilities but no practicalities. oh and by the bluray movies aren't any different than other 1080p movies..except the light used to burn and read them is blue and smaller so they can fit more information on a dvd. thats their huge advantage

@Jeroen5252 you obviously cant read hoss...bluray movies aren't any different than other 1080p movies other than using a blue laser to read and write dvds fitting more informaiton on the dvd. now what do you think a ray is its a fuckin light. blue waves are shorter than the typical red light lasers that are and therefore smaller. i'm pretty sure you need to get some sort of education on shit before you speak. the old ps3 got 1080p. im a network administrator i get on the net enough
