The elevator clip is from the episode where House finds out that Cuddy is trying for In-Vitro Fertilization which she asks him to keep as a secret. He then indeed keeps it as a secret and does not even tell Wilson. As Cuddy enters the elevator, she isn't at first sure if her secret has been revealed, but then understands that it has been kept by House. My conclusion: he always had a thing for her, even in early seasons. Sorry, don't remember the season and ep. number.
