Your comment is out of context, why dont you butt out? This isn't your concern. My comment was in response to people claiming the events in the Chathams didn't happen. Pre-colonial Maori culture, tikanga condoned the actions perpetraited against the Moriori and those principles, or lack of them have no place in NZ society.

As yet, there is no definitive proof that Moriori were in NZ before or after Maori, or that Maori caused their numbers to deplete. There's also a theory that inter tribal warfare in the Chathams lowered their numbers before they became pacifists and European arrival..

Firstly, I wasn't and haven't been talking to you.
Secondly the basis behind me of saying torque is tarring all Maori with the same brush is that he likes to use this analogy of the Moriori to illustrate how Maori culture is "savage" and "unkempt" which is just plain wrong.
Tehamua was questioning peoples resolved belief in history books written by white historians, not a race of people. As far as I can see he didn't actually deny anything. I didn't look very hard mind.
